Nicely made and gets the job done
I’ve been using this light for several weeks now, raising some brassicas. As you can see in the photo, my plants are doing well. I have the light about 8” above the top of the plants and it’s giving adequate light to a shelf that is 2’ deep. Being able to start seeds with just two bulbs on, then putting all four bulbs on when the plants need that is a nice feature and saves even more energy. This light fixture doesn’t put out much heat. I’ve measured temperatures in the room and right under the light where my plants sit and I only see an increase of 3 or 4°. I haven’t burned any plants with it at all, and I haven’t seen any plants on the outside edges bending in search of light. The 4-bulb fixture is great for a 2’ deep shelving system. The ability to swap out bulbs for different color spectrums or replace bulbs that fail is what sets this fixture apart and dictates the price. Should the fixture fail prematurely, I will update this review, but if I get several years of use out of it, I’d say it’s definitely worth the money. It’s also nice that the top is solid as I have plants on the shelf above and drips or spills are inevitable. This fixture can take it, no problem.

Great product and results with my orchids
I've been switching over to LED units as my t5 fluorescent fixtures die. I'm glad I found Active-Grow- their products are obviously high quality and I have seen great results with my orchid collection that spends the winter indoors under lights. This Unit is a good fit into those wire "baker's racks" that are often used to house plant collections. Puts out a good amount of light and very little heat.

Great Product
Impressed with this product. My Bell peppers have done incredibly well under this light. Ordered a second light, have the 2 foot and 4 foot light. Seedlings grew so fast, needed the larger light to allow for them to spread out. The pepper plant leaves are broader than what I've grown under fluorescent T5. Another benefit, my plants are not leggy. Stalks are nice and thick. You can pull the light close to the plants after they sprout which was great at first. Eventually moved the light about 18" above them as they have grown larger and continue to grow. Plants have a nice Bush appearance. Also obtained great results with parsley and am now staring cabbage, tomatoes, basil and believe they will do just as well. This light definitely has given me a jump on the growing season which can be tempermental at times where I live.

Works well. moved from florescent to LED and happy with the results.
We were replacing two 2ft florescent lamp fixtures with this one and could not be happier with the results. The old ones were drawing 3amps for the two fixtures and this one is drawing much less current and is brighter as a bonus. No real heat from these lamps though so if you are counting on this fixture to keep the plants warm, you might want to heat them some other way.Wife is very happy.

The Best Grow Lights. (It's not close)
Wow. These light fixtures are incredibly well made, meticulously packaged, and work exceptionally great. I wish I didn't waste my money on the hydrofar* t5 florescent lights that use twice as much energy and burn my plantsMade in China -1 star. Boasting about "green" products made by the largest polluter on Earth isn't a good look.

Very good color and brightness, high 120hz flicker, no instructions for fixture
Fixture does what it says it does, but I think LED lights where people work, even if primary aim is for plants, should not flicker. I bought these because they are full spectrum, and they do indeed provide bright light with what probably is full spectrum ( I can't measure that). They are probably great for growing plants, but they flicker too much for general use in my opinion. And the included instructions refer only to the bulbs, not the fixture ( i.e. tell you how to rewire a ballast, which this fixture does not have, does not need and would not use. There is no mention in the instructions of assembly of the fixture itself, the thing you purchased, so you need to notice that the bulbs have a live end, only marked with single letters L and N for Live and Neutral, that needs to be installed on the direct wired end of the fixture. Lamps have full flicker at 120hz, which you may or may not be sensitive to. There is no easy way to direct wire it (Romex.)

Great Customer Service.
After doing a lot of research I decided to go with the Active Grow T5 High Output LED Grow Light Fixture to start my garden from seeds (Tomatoes, Peppers, Eggplant, Parsley, Basil, etc..). After a few months a pair of the bulbs went dim. I contacted the seller and they immediately sent me two new bulbs and that fixed the problem. Overall, the fixture gives off plenty of light for any seedlings you may want to start for your garden. Highly recommend this fixture.

LED Grow Lights
Purchased two sets of these Active Grow LED Lights, they are very well made. I have had others but all have had cheap electrical cords and off and on switches. These are very solid off and on switches and heavy duty electrical plugs. They run very cool to the touch, hardly feel any warmth after being on for twelve hours. My plants are responding well to these lights. You can measure the growth on a daily basis. I have tomatoes, green peppers, watermelon thus far. They are all growing great. Will be buying more Active Grow LED Lights in the near future. Customer service for this company was excellent in helping me.
