Replaced Our Old KEF - Same Model - Good Price!
I blew out the mid range speaker on our KEF 7003. We had a hard time hearing voices during a movie. I asked our AV company quote a new KEF - same model as my old one. They came in at full retail ~ $945. This was about $600 with tax. Easy to install, great sound.

Perfect for people with high end receivers who want a sound bar
If you have a good receiver but want a sound bar, you need to go with a passive speaker in order to utilize your receiver’s functions and sound effects. Trust me, I learned the hard way, buying an amplified sound bar system which now lives in our family room. You can make them work but you lose the benefits of the receiver. This product is the perfect answer. Great sound, the passive hook up you need with amplified receivers and maintains my overall receiver quality and functionality. Delighted with the purchase!

Blown speaker
We bought this to replace the front speakers on my existing stereo system . We use it to mostly watch movies. Speaker was blown after 6 weeks and is now awful to listen to.

OK within limitations of a small soundbar.
Very attractive, tiny and well made. It will fit almost anywhere.However. you must add a sub woofer if you want to hear any bass response below 120HZ. There is almost no bass response. The bar only reproduces the high frequencies and mid range; If you want a very small, very attractive, well made three channel passive soundbar, this would fill the bill, but one must add a Sub. if you want to have more low end than your TV can produce. Most subs. would be straining to reach up to 120Hz. to cover the lack of low end response of the KEF. There is sort of a dead area between the upper range of most subs and the lower range of the KEF 7003.Additionally, the short length of the bar precludes much of a feeling of separation or depth and you will need an Amp that produces at least 60 clean RMS watts per channel for optimal results as the speaker bar is not particularly efficient having a sensitivity rating of only 85.Within the limitations of it's size and sensitivity it is an OK at value at $299 or even $399....at $599..not so much. You can probably get a Vizio or Samsung active sound bar including an OK Sub for about $300 that will sound as good or better.

Great audiophile sound for a midlevel price
I wanted a soundbar to accompany my Sony HDTV and home theater; there are lots of options out there, from $100 on up. In my case, I already had most of the pieces of a good HT setup: RogerSoundLabs Elan and 2600 Monitor speakers, a Sony A/V Receiver and Bluray player and a Sony W3000 subwoofer. I needed a center channel speaker to get some better front sound though. I happened across the KEF at Pacific Sales. I have a friendly and helpful salesman there who knows that I like higher-end, but not necessarily higher-end prices. He gave me an incredible deal on this soundbar. The best part about the KEF for me is that each of the three channels available use a separate pair of speaker wires instead of proprietary connectors as some other soundbar and subwoofer sets do. I was able to get some Monster connector ends and some large gauge speaker wire and connect everything up simply.Awesome sound!

It may have sounded a tiny bit better but not nearly $580 better
I had really high hopes for this sound bar since it was one of the few under 38 inches I needed. I was replacing a Yamaha sound bar and thought this would be a big upgrade but it wasn't. It may have sounded a tiny bit better but not nearly $580 better. Even with the sub it just sounded thin. I wasn't expecting it to fill the room like my main home theater does, but it just didn't cut it for me.

Big Sound Small Package
I got this sound bar when I decided to mount my 42" Flat Panel TV. I already had rear speakers mounted and really didn't have a viable option to mount my 3 front speakers except for the ceiling, really didn't wan't to do that. After mounting the TV I was also able to mount the sound bar on the same mount as the TV with Sanus VMA202 Soundbar Speaker Mount and Full Motion LF228 Mount. Now no matter which angel I move the TV the three front speakers of the sound bar provide full high quality sound in that direction. Couldn't be more pleased. Also this sound bar replaced three front speakers of a Sony Home Theater in the box system and works great!

Need a slim (vertically) center speaker....well
KEF center speaker is wonderful. Sounds is immaculate. This is a passive system with no WiFi or wired connectivity. Its not a connected soundbar but that is not what I needed. I needed a particular vertical height, passive speaker to fit my set up and it worked like a charm. Wonderful materials (metal) and just feels well built, looks great and sounds spectacular.
