No lights and very quiet.
I bought this fan because it has no lights. It is very quiet. It has a 3-pin connector. The other 3-pin fans in my case can change speed, but this fan runs at a constant speed. I'm not sure why. I have a Zalman Z9 plus case and fans. This case has a fan speed control dial on the front, and the fans plug into a speed control header. I'm going to write to Zalman to figure this out. The fan is nice and I will be keeping it.

absolutely perfect.
i always thought "silent fan" was just an buzz word thrown around, like "blast processing" or "powered by AMD", but these are absolutely silent. they push much less air thean the turbines i replaced, but my cooling hasnt been effected so clearly i didnt need 5 high speed fans in the first place, and you probably dont either.

Much quieter now
In bringing an old computer back to life, a chassie fan was frozen. I bought two cheap fans to replace it but two running made the computer sound like standing next to a jet engine. I reduced it down to 1 fan and it still was so noisey it drove me nuts. So I I bought this fan, after installing it my noise levels are barely noticible. I'm very happy with this fan.

Quite Fans
I've always used Noctua fans in my computer builds. I'm happy to see they have no fluff fans that have the same build quality, but without the added features. Nice and quiet as well. I'll continuing to buy Noctua fans for all my projects.

Super quiet, works well.
I'm using this to cool an Astron VS-50M power supply that comes stock with passive cooling. It has done the trick to keep the transformer cooler. It is VERY quiet, as in you need to get your ear 3" away from it to hear anything.

Exactly what you would expect from Noctua.
I have had this fan running for well over a year now and it still cools silently like it did on day one.

Fabulous Fans. Noctua is the only brand I buy.
I've been buying Noctua fans since inception and not one of their fans has failed on me. They are amazingly quiet and reliable.

Quiet
Noctua always delivers with their fans. I used one of these to replace the fan on my Hyper 212 because the thing was just so loud. I checked the temperature and it does just as good, if not better than the fan that came with the cpu cooler. Even at 2000 rpm I can barely hear this fan, and it pushes a lot of air effectively. Overall, this fan is definitely worth the money.
