SKIL 7292-02 2.0 Amp 1/4 Sheet Palm Sander with Pressure Control

My husband 30 plus years ago decided to seal our mountain stone on the inside of the house needless to to say it looks like vinyl I hated it I have tried to hand sand never worked I tried to forget it but it drove me nuts ,but with this handy dandy little sander it worked great I got a good start on it looks so much better.PS I have a TV cabinet my son in law made for us one of the doors was warped and wouldn't shut after many years of driving me crazy I got the sander out this morning and sanded the top and side down and now it closes with ease it has already paid for it self and I have so much more to do I can't wait!!

Very effective for my small home tasks.

This was a replacement for a 20 year old B&D palm sander my mother passed down from her projects. The dust filter is easy to clean and traps most of the dust. It’s still highly advisable to wear a mask. Attaching the paper is pretty simple and easy if you are patient. I’ve found this goes into corners and tight spaces pretty well. I’ve disassembled teak chairs and refinishing them. It was relatively inexpensive, well made and it takes out rough spots, varnish and nicks very easily.

We used the SKIL palm sander to sand a peeling painted picnic table. It worked great on the top and the table is ready for painting prior to winter. We used up the 80 grit sheets that came with the sander so make sure if you have a project to do, that you order more sand paper to finish the job!.
