We decided to buy a grinder/shaker after making the decision to switch to Celtic sea salt. I decided on this set for a variety of reasons and found that the description given is true to the product. This is a very nice set of grinders. I like that they have lids, so that you don’t end up with dust, grease, or a variety of other floating and flying foreign objects in your seasonings. They’re an ideal size, large enough that you’re not constantly refilling them but small enough that along with their slim curved shape, they fit nicely in your hand and are very manageable, and the grinder turns very easily. The streamline glass shape and stainless steel top give them a simple yet classic look that would fit well with a wide range of kitchen decor. I got them at a discounted price, which is always a bonus, but even at full price, they’re a steal.

I purchased my first box and the salt one broke while my dog sitter was cooking and ruined her recipe pouring salt all over her caserole. I had only had the item for 6 months but decided to try and purchase a single one to replace. I was unable to replace a single grinder so decided to replace with a complete set and keep one back for a much later date!!!Low and behold the pepper grinder breaks on me and pours pepper all over my scrambled eggs!!!! Thank goodnes I jhad the backup grinder. I will not be purchasing this set again as I cannot find where to purchas the repair pieces and find it very frustrating that I have to replace with an entire set.
