I am a big fan of Huusk knives and own quite a few of them for home use so I bought these for hunting camp. They come razor sharp out of the bag. They have some nice weight to them and they do get a lot of attention for others that see and use them. Huusk makes great quality knives. I e never had any problems while using them and they hold an edge forever!!

They look good, feel sharp and should no doubt handle the task. The butcher knifes are weighty and of high tinsel steel. How do you know Ken? Because I am working on drilling holes in the butchers so that I can hang them all on the back of my stove for easy access. The handles are also stitched well to the knives and look great

Worth it for the money if you know how to take care of your knives like a chef should.

Obviously you cannot get a Japanese knife for this price. This is made in China but I knew that when I ordered it. I mainly got this to separate chicken wings to make buffalo wings. It came SUPER sharp and I actually got a fine cut when it just brushed one of my fingers. It also came with a bend on the end which I was able to "pretty much" straighten out. Lost its hyper sharpness after two uses, but it takes an edge well for an affordable knife. If you don't mind (and have the tools) to sharpen your knives it will be fine.I wash it in the dishwasher and it did take on some minor discoloration, but doesn't impact it's function.

Bought this as a gift for my boyfriend, and he loves it. Uses them alot and thanks me for them all the time.

I must give this knife five stars. The first time I used it I used it to cut chicken. It was perfect. I then cut my finger straight through the tendon. This is an extremely sharp knife. $4000 later after surgery I still feel I should give this knife five stars.

Bought this for my husband who is finally learning to cook at 60 years of age. He wishes he had had it a lot earlier. I have used it several times and it is great. The blade is easy to use even with my Rheumatoid Arthritis.
