Better than coffee better than tequila
Lovely thick and strong coffee liqueur. Possibly the best coffee liqueur out there. Can’t really pick up the tequila, but it does add a little fire to the taste.

Classy, flavoursome and well priced!
Cazcabel Honey Tequila offers a unique blend of traditional tequila with a sweet honey infusion. It is a smooth, well-balanced spirit that’s both sweet and slightly spicy, making it perfect for sipping straight or mixing into cocktails. The flavour is unique and provides a nice warm and inviting aroma. If you are a tequila purist, this may not be for you as the honey does make the tequila very sweet. Overall, if you are after something different and tasty, this tequila is for you!

Excellent compromise on Mexican tradition
My experience with this drink is extremely pleasant and positive . . Being first introduced to Tequila in Tijuana after Woodstock ‘69 and the habit of there only being one drink that qualified for the name of Tequila i.e. the Silver, I have for the subsequent decades stayed with the silver. This version has the visual appeal of the traditional Tequila but does have a very positive complementary flavour. This is a very good sipping drink, and it’s very easy on the throat . . A good complement to their straight silver, and a nice mixer for the Tequila Silver

Best tequila I’ve ever tasted
Great in cocktails but also a delicious shot on its own, so smooth compared to standard tequila.A tequila sunrise is already a nice drink but change the tequila for this version instead and it goes to another level - try it and thank me later!Price is fairly reasonable in my opinion

Fair substitute but very different to Patron
So Patron XO Cafe is being discontinued and will apparently (so my offlicense tells me) only be sold in Litre bottles in the USA and exported to UK.. I looked at some reviews at alternatives on here and thought I would try Cazcabel. Whilst Patron is rich and smooth and you can taste more vanilla notes (similar to the ones in Don Papa rum), this one is still rich and smooth, but very sweet. The coffee taste of Cazcabel is a lot stronger, more like expresso martini and you lose the flavour of Tequila shot hit which you get with Patron. There is only 1%difference in the alcohol volume also. My opinion is this is a fair substitute for that wake up shot, whilst we see whether Patron ever crosses our shores again!

Best tequila I’ve ever had
So easy to sip on the rocks, not usually a fan of straight tequila but this this stuff is in a league of its own, super sweet and smooth, currently going through a bottle every week.
