Husband loved for his chevy
This tool is a must have for any DIYer that wants to work on their chevy. This may work with other GDI injectors, but I can only talk about the GDI 5.3L cylinder heads. This tool is the safest way to take the Direct Injection fuel injectors and rails out of the cylinder head, remove the old compression seal and install a new one. Without this tool you will risk damaging the rail, injector, or cylinder as well as risking a compression seal failure. I cannot stress enough how important having this tool is to making this job go right. The way the hooks allow you to get the fuel rail off beats any hammer or pry bar and prevent the risk to the casting or gasket sealing surface. I love this tool and it has a place in my toolbox. Hopefully I don’t ever have to use it again but I have it if I need it.
