I got these for two reasons - we have a backup generator, but I wasn't sure which switches on the transfer switch power certain things, and I don't want to run the whole house, so I plug one of these into the freezer downstairs to let me know if the power is off. The other reason is we bought an Ecoflow battery backup for the sump pump, and sometimes I'd check it and the AC output had turned itself off. I wanted to leave the sump pump plugged up 24/7, but if it turns off at random times, the battery backup is of no use to me. So I plugged one of these in and it let me know when the AC output turned off (turns out you needed to update the firmware and change some settings to prevent the backup battery from powering off). The light is nice, and I found the alarm to be fairly loud - but if you have it somewhere like a basement, you likely won't hear it upstairs unless you're in a room directly above the alarm. So it's not like a smoke alarm volume, more like an alarm clock volume.

We have had one power outage since getting this alarm. Works great. Really like that we can choose the alarm sound and volume.

The different tones are ok, but the chime sound they emmit when plugged in would be a valued addition to the tone choice menu. The sounds of fire trucks and cop car just isn't getting it. They work, and because of that I'm giving you 4 and a request. Please add the chime sound as a option.

I love this wireless doorbell! I bought 4 of them, 2 of them in the main areas of the house and 2 in personal bedrooms. My grandparents are a little hard of hearing and this has worked wonders when the home nurse comes to check on them! I love all the different chimes/tones you can pick from and the fact that each ringer can have different tones at different volumes. 100% recommend to someone that is in need of a doorbell without all the hassle!

So far so good. Outlet loses power, the alarm goes off right away.

Works okay, but nowhere loud enough to hear from the other side of the house. We have this on the sump pump in our basement. Will need to try something else with better alert capabilities.

Really cheap insurance against loosing a freezer of meat. I have a meat freezer in my garage with some expensive cuts of meat. Didn't know the breaker had tripped for a day. Fortunately the meat stated cold. Bought the pair. Put them on the gfci outlets.

This power outage alarm is my peace of mind because I've always worried about my freezers.
