I recently bought the FERIETELF Drone, and I’m really happy with it! It was easy to set up and fly, which is great since I’m new to drones. The controls are simple, and the drone flies smoothly, even in light wind.The camera is good for the price. The drone stays steady in the air, and there’s a button to bring it back easily so you won’t lose it. I also like that it folds up, making it easy to carry around.Overall, this is a great drone for beginners or anyone looking for an affordable option with a camera. Definitely recommend!

The media could not be loaded. Great beginner-friendly drone! The 4K camera quality is impressive, and features like GPS, “Follow Me,” and “Auto Return” work perfectly. Lightweight, foldable, and easy to control. The extra battery for 50 minutes of flight time is a big bonus. Instructions could be clearer, but overall, an excellent choice for beginners!

1. Wind SusceptibilityFirst complaint I have is that I lost control of flying my drone due to it being highly susceptible. FYI drones can be susceptible to wind but shouldn’t be highly susceptible to wind. What I mean by that is if it was only breezy and wind was going 2-5 mph the drone should be able to hover and remain in control, but if it was anywhere higher than 24 mph then I can understand flying the drone is very dangerous. -1 ⭐️2. Battery LifeYou would think if a drone thinks it’s running low on battery, shouldn’t fly back to where it took off from or warn you? I would think so. Not this drone. This drone has a mind of its own. If it runs out of battery or runs low, it decides for itself to go on a side-quest to who knows where and flies off, even if you command it to come back to you or safely land. If you want it back you have to think quickly and get yourself ready to catch it. You better hope you do if you press the emergency shut off button. On top of that you can lose the pieces easily so there goes my money. Also 15 min seems a bit short, but also not that bad to be honest. +1 ⭐️3. Can it FlyI’ll give the benefit of the doubt that it can in fact fly, rather than just stay on the ground and spin its propellers all day long. +1 ⭐️4. ControlsThe controls were basic enough so knowing what does what is a learning experience, but not difficult. +1 ⭐️5. PackingIt came with a case which is very nice, which earns “HALF OF A STAR” in my opinion the only reason I would give another is the fact that the case is actually easy to handle and the kit was almost complete. Not missing anything they said it would include, but having a few more guard rails would’ve been nice. +1 ⭐️6. ConnectionUnless you want your drone to perform on going on a side-quest keep it close to you and to the ground so you don’t lose it. Kind of added on to my first complaint, but this’ll be more of a preview to the cameras. If the drone is anywhere farther than 30 ft from you, the connection will be terrible. -1 ⭐️7. Camera QualityThe “Quality” was a lie when it said 1080 HD. More like late 1980’s to early 2000’s quality if you were to film something like party that happened in the 1990’s for some reason which be my guest if that is what you want, however video quality will be very choppy outside the radius of 30 ft in any axis. X, Y, and Z axis if you want to know. Without the negatives so let’s be fair a tally up the star rating in case you don’t know yet… -1 ⭐️So that’s why it gets one star from me. DON’T BUY this product!

Based on review I felt like this product would be feasible for my 5 year old and my husband to fly. I am not sure that the reviews took into account that it is still very hard to control and fly correctly. Easy to crash and break and very small. Quality is pretty standard but I feel like the sizing goes against it a little. Kept the product but have still not been able to turn our 5 year old loose with it. Hoping to hold on to this one for a bit until I feel like he is ready.

This is my first drone I’ve tried. It was a fun experience for me! I highly recommend reading all the manuals they provide and there’s a YouTube video you can watch about how to calibrate the device. It’s very lightweight. Camera quality seems decent for the price in my opinion. I think it’s a nice drone for someone as a fun gift idea or if you’re just interested in trying out a drone.

The large instruction booklet is difficult to interpret and lacks many details. The instructions say the batteries will display a red light while charging and the red light will go off when they are charged. It also warns not to over charge them. The supplied cable has three pigtails so you can charge both batteries at the same time. I put both batteries on to charge and the red lights came on. I checked them over the next few hours and the red lights were still on. The next morning, the red light was still on. I installed one of the batteries and got about 5-10 minutes flying time, then the drone returned to its liftoff location and the controller was beeping repeatedly. I inserted the other battery, same scenario. I checked the batteries in the controller (the AAA batteries) and they were fully charged. Also, I downloaded the fly app but I could not sync to the camera. I'm no wiz kid with high tech stuff so maybe that was due to my ignorance, however, I had another drone a few years ago and was able to connect to its camera with no problem. Also, I had to perform the rotating steps to coordinate the GPS and Gyro thing before each flight if the power to the drone was turned off. On the good side, it was very powerful and sophisticated. The return to take off landing feature is great, just keep in mind it will return directly to the takeoff spot regardless of trees or other obstacles that may be in its path...ask me how I know! I returned it only due to the battery problem, otherwise I would have kept it.

The price point is perfect, and there was a coupon. It comes with a lightweight drone, two batteries, a controller, charging cable, extra parts, screwdriver, and detailed instructions. They also included a nice compact carry bag. Very easy to set up. I can’t wait to catch amazing footage!
