Draper Redline 68603 100 x 220 mm Brick Bolster with Hand Guard , Red and black

I used this in the recent home renovation we carried out, a cracking little piece that allowed me to remove large amounts of coving that was rotting from the house and some roof plastic chunks too. Works great in conjunction with the mallet, not too sharp on the edges and it is heavy but sturdy, cracking little addition to the toolkit.

Worked perfect to remove tiles from a kitchen backsplash and a bathroom. I’m just a home-DIYer so I didn’t want to use a machine, and used this chisel for most of the work. After two moderate jobs the cutting edge looks basically as new. The strike face has peened a bit as you’d expect.The hand guard works well and feels very strong but is perhaps a little small on the actual grip - I have wide hands and if I mis-hit then - on more than one occasion - I got a nasty pinch between the guard and the shoulder of the chisel. Still better than striking your hand.Overall 100% pleased. Couldn’t have done the jobs without it.

Tolles Teil gut zu handeln.

Über einen Flachmeißel gibt e zwar nicht viel zu sagen. Er hat sich bei meiner Arbeit ausgezeichnet bewährt.Schöne GrüßeWalter

Ich habe den Meißel gekauft, um mit der breiten Schneide Steinplatten zu spalten. Das geht auch sehr gut. Der Lack leidet dabei zwar aber ist bei einem Werkzeug ja nebensächlich.Der Griff des Meißels liegt recht gut in der Hand, war mir aber auf Dauer doch zu klobig und ich habe ihn abgezogen. Dies ist problemlos möglich, da der Griff nur aufgesteckt ist.Kann den Meißel also zum Steine spalten empfehlen.
