The bench arrived intact in decent packaging. Putting it together was fairly straight forward. All parts were present.One of the pre-drilled holes that are needed to attach the back to the the seat had to be re-worked as it was misaligned. For someone not handy, this could have been an obstacle difficult to overcome.I am overall pleased with it, considering the price point and overall appearance. It looks elegant and gracile. The middle legs are truly needed for weight baring, but keeping the stock thinner adds to its appeal. It accommodates three adults comfortably, four if you had to. That will easily add up to 400 + pounds, and the bench bears that kind of weight easily.The cushion is relatively thin (about 1.5 inch thick) and is from memory foam. This gives it a better feel when sitting on it despite it being thin, but it does hold water and takes longer to dry out. When stood up on it's side, the water drains more readily and aids in drying. The cover material appears to be cotton or a cotton mix, so it will probably hold up decently. Still, if you have the option, I would put it up when not in use for an extended period of time.I'm going to put a new layer of protective wood oil on it this spring when it warms up. The original finish is nice, but will probably not stand up to the weather over time (but then, nothing will).

The media could not be loaded. I bought this outdoor sofa for my cat room, as I needed something that would be suitable for my cats in case they did pee or spray or made any kind of mess so that’s why I went with something wooden and also waterproof. This gave it such a spectacular touch, Like how did I not buy this sooner? I love this design, it is big enough to sit three people comfortably and padding is very comfy as well. Highly recommend this, it took us about 35 minutes to assemble it two people, however, I think that person would’ve been just fine , the instructions were very clear and we did not have any hiccups trying to assemble it. I think you would also look really nice outside. It is heavy and sturdy so a piece of furniture that will not fly away.

All holes lined up, it's made from quality material, and the instructions were clear. If you have another person to help, assembly will be much easier, but it can definitely be a one-person job. It would be perfect if there were wood caps to hide the screws, but for the price this is an excellent value. Would recommend.

Nice bench and easy to assemble.

We didn’t care for the bench. We asked to return it and customer service was great. They picked it up at no charge. We were refunded the entire amount. A good company.

The media could not be loaded. The style of this bench goes well with the outdoor space where I put it. I liked the look of the natural wood. I was happy to discover that the bench can be used either with or without the cushion. I find it comfortable both ways since the slats are smooth and close together. I’ll be able to leave this out year round and just store the cushion in the winter. The cushion ties into place so it doesn’t slide or blow away. The cover is removable for washing if it ever gets dirty. It’s a comfortable bench and I especially like the size of it. Three adults can sit comfortably with room to spare and even 4 can sit if we don’t mind being close. The bench is sturdy and has the benefit of 2 extra legs to support that many people. The wood is beautifully finished. Water beads up on both the wood and the cushion so they needed no extra treatment or special care before being ready for use. It looks lovely and I’m enjoying using it.

Don’t hesitate! We had the 4999 metal bench from Academy I think that everybody and their grandma has. We live it!!! Very easy for my hubs to put together. What’s up oh my God people do yourself a favor whenever you leave a review leave a pic!!

Huge Crack all the way thru the wood. No damage to the box it was packed in.
