What's not to love, great size, attractive, and microwave safe
This was exactly what I was looking for. I could see how some people would want a cover but that wasn't something I needed. I was looking for a large soup bowl with a handle and this exceeded my exceptions. Plus because it's over sized 24oz the risk of it making a mess in the oven is low even for those large cans of soup.One review mentioned that it get hot in the microwave, not my experience, the handle gets warm when microwaving soup but certainly not too hot to handle bare handed, not even close.

3 out of 4 ain’t bad
After reading some of the 1 star reviews, I ordered them anyway. Bought them specifically for French onion soup. I would recommend the 22oz bowls which I ordered. When I picked up the package, I could hear some rattle. Well, one handle was broken. So 3 out of 4 ain’t bad.

Both Looks and Function are A+
I was pleasantly surprised at how attractive these soup bowls are, and they withstood my microwave and broiler at 500 degrees with no problem. They each hold 16 oz which is a very nice size. In fact, I ordered a second set of 4 because they are nice enough to serve a larger group of people when I entertain.Some people have downgraded them because they arrive chipped or broken. The packing was fine for me and I don't know why they should be downgraded when the carrier is responsible for it and an exchange is easy to do.I highly recommend them.
