For Scuba But Might Not Work Well Underpressure
Bought this light early this year for scuba diving. Was looking for something inexpensive, yet hopefully reliable. Based on the most current reviews it was hit and miss, but you never know until you try it yourself., and I'm optimistic. The construction of the light ie how I felt, the weight, the on/off switch all felt good when holding it. The charging was fine no issues on charge time.Used the light for 17 dives (3 dives per trip avg 30 min per dive) to an average depth 35ft each dive and by end of day I had some charge left but was completely satisfied that the light got me through the day; Never leaked, no issues with the switch, and before heading out the light had a full charge as indicated. On my 18th dive, with a fully charged light, I got in the water, and when I reached a depth of 47ft (first time this deep with light) the light didn't turn on. I tried multiple times with the switch to no avail. Hmm.As I ascended passed 40 ft I tried the light again and the the charge indicator was flashing yellow, red. Hmm should be full charge green, but the light was flickering, then stayed on, then flicked, then turned off. When I got the surface, once on the boat the light turned on, stayed on, but then turned off. When I got home I examined the light, no leakage anywhere, the charge port was dry (seals worked), and so I charged the light again. The charge indicator was full green when I unplugged, and when I turned the light on, it kept flickering, and it instantly when to a red, yellow charge light . Hm.This light was great until it wasn't. It wasn't user error or anything I can think of (above water) that would cause this situation. The only thought I have is when It went to a deeper death than my usual 35ft avg the light doesn't work well under pressure. For the price, construction, I'd recommend it. However, I would now be skeptical passed a deeper depth whatever that may be for you, mine was passed 35ft. I don't know, you might get lucky, taking it passed 60ft, and based on past reviews some were. That's my review of this light. Good luck !

Switch is unreliable
Received light and batteries had a charge, so immediately tested it that night, on land. I was quite pleased with the brightness and excited to use it on my upcoming dive in Monterey Bay. That night I woke to a bright light. Even in off-lock position the light came on, and this happened multiple times following. I charged the torch (loving the "leave battery in" charging), however day of, I found the torch again on, in the off position. Charged again on way to dive. Finally in water testing, and the thing won't turn on.I really wanted to like and use this torch, but it is being returned and another brand chosen.

Poor product
Tried it a number of times. The light adjustment quit working after the second dive. Battery did not have a long life. Also the light’s lock was poor and easily failed.

Dead after 4 dives
Really disappointed as was on dive trip out of country and it quit during dive 1 and then would not hold a charge. Problem is you purchase these units. they check out fine and you use them in the next 3 weeks and the still appear fine. Then you next dive trip is not for say 3-4 months and after dive 1 Light is dead and now your outside of the return Policy
