Use handbrake free software to copy etc
Great piece of kit,it works very well and doesn't require any drivers.I used "handbrake" to copy a DVD to USB.It took 15 mins to encode and copy.Great job

Best Quality
I bought this DVD external drive recently and it’s great. It has two USB ports, memory card support, and Type-C support. Connecting it to my MacBook is very easy and it works well. It's a useful tool for extra connections. Highly recommended!

Horrible CD Drive - Scratched My Disc Beyond Repair
I am extremely disappointed with this CD drive. After only a couple of uses, it scratched a perfect circle into one of my favorite discs, rendering it completely unusable. The issue isn't just cosmetic—it's outright destructive! I had high expectations, but the build quality is obviously subpar.To make matters worse, the drive itself was noisy and struggled to read discs properly even before the scratching incident. For the price, I expected much better performance and reliability. Avoid this product unless you’re willing to risk destroying your CD collection. Absolutely unacceptable.,

Useful
If you still need to insert a cd or two, you'll find a great use in this little device. It looks a bit outdated and complicated but I still need to get over the fact laptops don't add them anymore.

Reliving old memories
Bought to use for all my old dvds, as laptops now a days don't come with the drive. Will help relive those old memories.

With the nowadays laptops that no longer have a CD/DVD unit in them, if you ever need to access the content on such discs then this is a great device to have. Easy to install and straight forward to use, all at a decent price. Plus you also get an SD card reader.
