The Gevi espresso machine is extremely easy to operate and makes a great espresso. I was easily able to custom the volume since I like a larger cup. Love that function. Takes up very little space as an added bonus. Customer service was also very helpful in ordering a spare portafilter for convenience. I highly recommend this to anyone that wants a great cup of coffee at a very reasonable price

Great machine for the money. I have waited 2 months to review this machine. I use it everyday, 2 Lattes a day. It pulls great shots. The steamer heats up quickly and works well. I bought this to use on our boat and didn't have high expectations because it was so cheap. I have a double boiler Breville at home that was nearly 10x the price of this machine, the espresso from this machine is every bit as good as the Breville. If you're looking for an inexpensive machine that works well, this is a great choice.

Nice but NO instructions on how the program the 2 buttons which draw a bit too little. NEVER LET IT GET LOW ON WATER, VERY HARD TO RESET AND AGAIN NO INSTRUCTIONS. Light will flash red it low on water and only unplugging it for several minutes works after adding water, probably some magic to do but the useless manual will not say. Lights are blue when ready and white while being used. Do steam after the draw. Automatically shuts off of not used, appears around 5 minutes but I have not timed it, this is a nice safety and energy saving feature. Starts making espresso as soon as the meter is within range and it usually reaches the top about when done. It is probably mostly for fun but still useful design feedback. Only goes over 15 bars for steam. Small counter use which is convenient. A standard coffee mug fits below unlike many units which can only fit a shot glasses or very short (cappuccino style) cups below for filling. This is so much nicer not having to hunt for a cup that fits. Again, the only problem is NO useful instructions so built-in functions are blocked from use.

Excellent beginner espresso machine and it's very quick, it heats up faster then the Keurig!

The machine is not bad, it brews good coffee. Manual says the shots size can be reconfigured. I have tried that yet. The single shot is too little and double shit is a bit too much.Main issue I have with this is, I grind coffee a bit finer to get all flavors. Thought this says 20 bar pump, but does not really work well. If coffee powder compressed a bit harder, the pressure goes into red zone. Even if not compacted much, there's water left in the coffee powder holder/filter, so not all water gets out. It has to let steam out after brew completed to expel all water from the coffee powder chamber. But that does not happen in this model.The frother/steam wand doesn't heat milk much. So not using it at all. I use it just to brew a double shot, that's it. Frother needs to much attention if used and then try to brew, you have to steam it out else brew won't work. Too much babysitting.The space is tight for the coffee cup. I use regular coffee mug and it doesn't fit in the space where coffee is dispensed. So had to remove the bottom pan for the mug to fit in.Wanted to return it, but the manual got damaged and had to throw it away. Why couldn't return. My bad - old strawberry was nearby & the red fluid out of it drenched the manual completely.UPDATE: the customer service reached out "to resolve any issues" and basically said I am at fault. Reduced stars to 1, don't waste your money. Get a more expensive one. Updated some of my comments to clarify the issues.

I really love this espresso maker. Makes great quality espresso and does a good job frothing the milk. I like the automatic shut off feature. Very good value for the money. I like the machine so much, I've sent one as a gift. The small footprint is a real plus.

Bought this for my daughter. She and her sisters use it daily. Makes great lattes, easy to clean, and easy to use.
