#DC1602 15 Channel Motorized Blind Remote Controller, Group Controls up to 15 Roller Blinds & Shades

I loved college. I went summers too. I should be a doctor, but I was more on the Tommy Boy plan. Lol. With that said - all the higher education in the world cannot help me figure this remote out. I have and use five remote control curtain/blinds. I can't seem to get this to pair with any of them. I read the instructions many times. What am I doing wrong? Is it defective or is it me?The remote come on. It seems to respond to button pushes. I just can't get it to pair with my blinds/curtain motors. And I of course can't seem to figure out why. I would like to blame my devices. They might be proprietary. Only working with the remote they came with. I give up trying. They all all connected to a hub or Alexa anyway. I did keep their corresponding remotes and have used them occasionally when Alexa takes an unscheduled nap - or whatever reason the blinds/curtains didn't behave on schedule. It would certainly be nice to have one remote, instead of five. I thought this one could do that job but again, it might be the device holder - not the device.I have spent too much time trying to get this remote to work. I will keep it in that junk drawer just in case the day arrives that I want to try some more. It appears to be well built and sturdy. I like the LCD display. I like the small size and form too. It would be nice to have one remote instead of the five hiding on top of my refrigerator.

I couldn't even pull the isolation tap nor the back cover. And no instruction on simple user manual.
