Thermal is pushing it a bit, but they are certainly warm. I like the nice bright colours of these and the tops are a soft elastic usually found on more expensive footwear. In fact, I have seen these exact socks on a shoe website being sold for more than this EACH. And there were, supposedly, in a sale. They each have a cardboard slip stopping each pair from looking like a multi pack, if you see what I mean.They are obviously meant for boots which are usually purchased a size up from shoes just for this type of thing, so why anyone would try to force them in to smaller footwear I don't know.I would happily buy again.

Brilliant, strong socks. Have walked many miles in these socks. The colours stay bright and the socks keep their shape and don't wear thin. They're not too thick in footwear but are cosy at the same time. The sizing is good with no shrinkage after many washes. The elastic still holds up well after 3 years of wear.

You get five pairs of these attractive multicoloured fairisle patterned socks in various colour ways. They are a medium weight wool mixture and seem quite warm. I am a UK size 5 shoe or EU 38 and although just about roomy enough for my feet I wouldn't be confident that they would be either wide or long enough for feet much bigger than mine. If they do fit then they are great and very good value.

Lovely socks. Size great for a size six foot. Very comfortable and warm. Only gave four stars because one pair of the socks were extremely small and could not put them on.

Really really pretty pattern and bright joyful colours. I'm a size 7 and they fit but they're definitely on the small side - hoping they'll stretch with some wear but not counting on it. Was hoping that the material would be a little softer. The vertical pattern section after the heel (in ankle direction) is very tight??? It could be good to get some extra support but could also be annoying if you don't like to feel pressure from your socks. Definitely would not trust putting these in a dryer.
