I have this brand's grit for steps 1, 2 and 3, they all work great. I use this step to grit after about two weeks of step one. Depending on the material, I use this step two for anywhere from 7 to 14 days. It works well for evening out the rocks and getting them ready for a final step for before the end Polish.
