My Polish born sweetheart lamented days when he lived in Bydgoszcz as a child before WWII and his mother made many delicious meals not offered in the USA which I would attempt to duplicate, yet his home made chicken soup was magical by comparison with parsnips and other vegetables I never thought of using. Mushroom soup was one of his favorites and now I understand why! What he never mentioned was which mushroom was used in his favorite soup, he probably didn't know because of his age at the time, but this must be it, the Portobello, King of the mushrooms. Now it's my favorite too, just as he was my favorite friend. I'm so happy to have at last found this and while it couldn't possibly be as good as his mom's home made soup, it's a great substitute as a quick fix. I make this each morning for myself and it is a beautiful start to my day. The seller is amazing too, they include a packet of tea in each order which we look forward to drinking. So thoughtful of them, and now I also have a favorite seller to go with my soup. Thank you so much TheEuroStore24 for keeping and having the lower price at $15 for 12, $1.25 ea!
