Better than the original!
I have already broken 2 original Jira containers like this as the glass is very thin and can easily be broken. I just received this and am hopeful that this one will last longer. My initial impression is that it is just like the original only a little heavier duty.

Nice glass container
I just wish that you can store this without the straw having to stay in it in order for the glass to stay sealed. I don't like steel leaching into what I drink. The shape of the glass is pleasing, however, and the glass seems sturdy.

Flaw or Defect?!
The media could not be loaded. After the first wash, I noticed water trapped between the top and silicone… no way to open it/get the water out. This is a recipe for mold growth. The glass it self seems decent. Jura’s brand has lots of complaints about their thin and breakable glass. This after market one is $30 and Jura’s is $50… you’d think these would be better made for the price.

Not original jura product
Purchase this item, tried to cancel five minutes later, not even shipped hours later and they will not cancel order. This is not a original Jura product is the reason why I was canceling.
