LifeStrawSip – Reusable Stainless Steel Water Filter Drinking Straw

Easy to use, slim, metal straw. I take it every where especially on vacation to other countries. I had the original straw which was bulky. This one has a nice plastic cover so it doesn’t get dusty in your bag or pocket. Comes in great colors too.

Perfect for travel, this straw will filter your water without worry. I like that I don’t need to rely on filtered water bottles anymore and can just pop a straw in practically anything. It even fits in my 40 oz owala when the top is off. I wouldn’t not take this with me, you never know the water quality when traveling.

Lifestraw has a great idea with their portable water filter, which resembles a straw and is easy to carry with its included case. However, one drawback is that, as a water filter, it requires you to forcefully suck water through numerous microscopic filters, making it somewhat difficult to use. In terms of build quality, it appears to be quite durable, featuring a full metal construction and leaving no strange aftertaste.

I used this the entire time I was in India; 2 months worth. I never had to worry about the water as this worked perfect for the purpose. Very easy to travel with, although if it's in your carry-on tsa may ask you to open it. Definitely gave everyone a laugh. Will be using these again for my next trips out of country.

This is great for flights on most airplane carriers that serve water in plastic bottles. Easy to travel with and solves the microplastics problem. It is way larger than I expected, but it still fits easily in my backpack. Seems very durable and improves the taste of bottled water. Overall fairly expensive, but it's an easy functional solution for people who travel frequently. If you have to go through TSA you can always says bringing your water is for "medical reasons" and they will let you take it through after a quick scan, but if you're in a rush to bypass security, it's nice to have this in your bag and still not worry about whatever water they serve you on your flight.

Lifestraw was the “lifesaver” when I went to the Philippines. I spent 2 weeks there and I didn’t drink anything but water or a packaged drink like soda. I wouldn’t even trust the ice that went in my sodas. I carried my Lifestraw everywhere. No gastrointestinal issues during the trip.I love that these have a cover and different colors so that there is no question which straw belongs to which kid.Only negative is that the whole set, straw and cover are pretty big. I understand it needs that it needs area to filter the water so it’s understandable. It doesn’t have the girth of your survival kind of Lifestraw. Still very portable and perfect for your survival emergency bag or your luggage.

My family was delighted when they got these in their stockings. Great to take on the road or backpacking or just to have on hand.

I purchased this straw to use for travel. I drink a lot of water and sometimes when we travel it is hard to drink due to the taste. I can often taste or smell the impurities in the water and quickly miss my filtered water. I thought that this straw would help me be able to enjoy drinking water away from home. I read the directions and tried my best to follow for optimal results. It did not work for me. I did not notice any improvement in water taste when using this straw. I was hopeful that I would be able to enjoy water when traveling but this straw did not work for me.
