Bent and missing socket pins
I installed processor without removing socket cover as instructed and built whole PC. On booting the PC, I discovered that both B1 and B2 RAM slots were not working. PC doesn't boot if I put RAM on either B1 or B2 slot. I have dual RAM 16 GB each and must have to insert on A2 and B2 slots for optimal performance of PC.Upon close inspection, I found some pins of CPU socket were either bent or missing. There was no option to replace or return the item.Though the PC is running with both RAM sticks on A1 and A2 slots, I fear it can damage CPU when doing heavy works, since one optimized RAM slot (B2) is not working. I am so annoyed that my money got wasted.Seems like it is better to search for a offline local shop for such non-returnable items.
