Good value
These are well worth the low cost. Used one for raspberry pi 5 dedicated to send GRBL code to CNC machine. Thanks to the touch screen I no longer need to subject my laptop to the dusty environment created when running the jobs on the CNC. Works best with a stylus. The high res mode is awesome as long as your vision is good. Everything you need to connect to a pi is included, namely a short flat HDMI cable and a mini USB connector for power/touch screen functionality.

Absolutely delightful little touchscreen
I picked this up to build a bespoke touch-interactive remote UI panel for a AV system I'm designing. The first week I had it, it was an absolute treat - the screen quality was excellent, the haptic functions worked as expected, everything was great. It worked without issue on my Win11 work laptop, my Win11 desktop, my Win10 desktop, and even an old Win7 Pro time capsule computer I had sitting around. Simply plug two USB cables into the micro-USB ports for power and touch, then connect it via HDMI, and you're off and running, with zero software installation (other than standard HID drivers) needed. After a week, I noticed that it would almost instantly drop the USB input connection if the top USB port was plugged in. To test it, I swapped out the cable for a known good one, and the problem persisted. It also persisted through two new-in-box USB cables, one of which was specifically ordered after the problem manifested. I also watched Device Manager - when the top port was connected (either solo or with the bottom), the HID device associated with the top USB port would try to add itself, then immediately disconnect, then repeat infinitely. If ONLY the bottom port was connected, it would draw power and behave properly. Plug the top port in? Boom, problem's back. It also persisted when hooked directly into any of the machines or into a powered USB hub, so it's definitely the port on the device as opposed to the device itself.I'm exchanging it straight across the board for a working one, so clearly, I'm not letting one bad port sour my experience on this device. Sure, it had issues, but as long as it's exchangeable, I'm perfectly happy with the screen, and if I didn't need touch capability, I'd simply turn it into a notification / management hub on my desk instead of using it for the intended purpose.

Great screen
I purchased this screen to replace the proprietary screen/controller combo in my 3D printer. Works like a charm! great touchscreen for the money. I printed a housing for it in no-time.

It's small, but that's the point
Low profile, absolutely zero frills. You get what you pay for. If you just need a second monitor with HDMI in, this is great. It doesn't come with a plastic enclosure around it, but I'm sure one could be 3d printed if you were so inclined.Great small monitor for a media player, or chat client. That's the usecase I was looking for, anyhow.

Works great! Touchscreen responsive. Bright.
The media could not be loaded. This little screen is solid. You need to make the config.txt file like the instructions say (and/or my last photo in case you got no instructions) for your Linux install, unsure about Windows or MacOS I'll have to try more. You can turn the blacklight on and off. The touchscreen loads via the USB interface, leaving your gpio free for other cool duties. Easy to read and crisp text. I'm glad I got this.

Great display for Raspberry Pi project
Great product overall and amazing value for money.I wish the display connections pointed inwards towards the center of the board to hide connections cables better for a Pi% project while keeping it compact.
