I have joined the crystal file revolution and upgraded my nail files and foot file to nano glass. If you aren’t familiar with the nano glass files, they are basically particalized glass files of varying coarseness that take the place of traditional files and are supposed to be healthier for your nails. But I hadn’t seen anything about crystal hair removers until I came across this and became intrigued.The shape is very similar to a glass foot file I own so I assumed it would be basically the same thing and wondered how the same tool that sanded my feet would remove the hair from my legs. But when I received this tool, I immediately saw that the surface file was entirely different. Where my foot file’s surface is coarse, this hair remover is basically smooth. If you run your finger over it, you can detect some friction but much less than I was expecting. Honestly, at first glance I suspected it wouldn’t work.But then I tried it. The instructions say to move it around in a circular motion while pulling your skin taut. I tried it out on my leg— and this is where I should give you a bit of backstory for full disclosure. After years of shaving and waxing, I lasered off most of my body hair a decade ago. But I still have very light fine blond hair on my legs that didn’t respond to the laser. I hate having to shave that hair because inevitably I get nick my ankle or knee. So I used this hair remover on the light fine hair and it dissolved it all and got rid of a layer of dead skin to boot. It’s exceptionally easy to use. I can’t say if it would get rid of a lot of coarse hair but for fine hair and dry skin, it was really effective, leaving a light dusting of dead skin and dissolved hair in its wake so you can tell it worked. My legs feel so incredibly smooth now.The one caveat is that some of the areas I used it on feel a bit tender and raw but I assume that will calm down. I prefer a bit of tenderness to the nicks and cuts I get from shaving any day though. Also, you are only addressing the hair that’s surface level, not at the root, so regrowth time should be similar to that of a razor.The hair remover comes with a silicon cap to protect the surface and arrives in a really nice box that you can store it in. The only downside is that it’s a little expensive for what it is but when you consider how much disposable razors cost, this might be a good investment.

I use this on my arms and legs and it works, with time. It took me several tries to understand how it works and to learn the type of pressure I need to apply. I did have some sensitivity at first but overall I like it. I also appreciate the silicone cover it comes with to protect the surface. Can't wait to use it more.

I received this DIOROAR Crystal Hair Eraser as part of a promotion. Here is what I found:1. Having never used nano glass before, I was not sure what to expect. This did a fine job on removing my leg hair. I have very fine, thin hair, so I cannot say how well it would do on thick coarse hair.2. It did exfoliate my dead skin cells as well. Maybe a little too well. I had a little irritation, but that was probably my own fault. The second time, I used less pressure and did not repeat my circles in the same spot as much.3. The weight of the eraser was good. It was not heavy to where your hands would get tired gripping it.4. The shape made for easy gripping as well.5. Timewise, I cannot say that it is faster than shaving. It was probably the opposite for me since my hair is fine, but it does keep you from having to lather up your legs. If you were traveling, you would not have to worry about packing shave lotion, and if you were already at the beach and realized you missed a spot or two, you could whip it out of your beach bag easily.6. Since it is taking the hair off at the same level as a razor, the hair regrowth time was the same.7. I would definitely apply lotion afterwards. This may sound crazy, but I applied an aloe vera after sun lotion to help with the irritation. Once that soaked in, I applied my regular body lotion. Kind of like slugging if you have ever done that before.If you are the type of person that does a shave and exfoliation near the same time, you will probably like this product because it does both at the same time. Do be careful with the amount of pressure you apply and the number of times that you circle in the same spot, especially if you have sensitive skin.

I was severely skeptical of this “crystal” hair remover. Like, zero expectations. But, holy moly was I wrong. Removes hair quick and painlessly, but if you use too much pressure or rub in one area for too long, it can cause some itching and possible redness on sensitive areas. Works better on dry skin.I tested it first on my legs that I dry brushed and washed beforehand (if you have dry skin and don’t exfoliate first, you’ll get ashy). There was about a weeks growth and I hardly used any pressure. The hair came off so easily and fast. I always have bumps in many areas and this didn’t aggravate them, but actually smoothed the skin even more. Left my legs feeling smoother than a shave with my intuition razor, minus the red bumps. A little tricky navigating on the knees, but it gets in there and you don’t need to worry about nicks.The only negative result I had was itching on spots I used in one area too long. Also, when I tried on coarser hair in the more “sensitive” regions, it still worked, but I had to go over the same areas longer and harder until it got uncomfortable.This will work on those bits in a pinch, but I wouldn’t recommend using it regularly on the more sensitive parts. It’s not really worth it for that. However, I am loving it for my legs, and different folks have different skin.This thing also will smooth out any kp bumps. Not a permanent solution, but your skin will feel much better afterwards. Works well as a foot pumice too. I’d just be careful using the same one on different body parts -could get nasty.Note -Much later that night, I noticed “black spots” and tiny hairs either growing back or ones I missed. Still smooth though, and this is easy enough to use that I wouldn’t mind touching up everyday.Overall, I’m incredibly impressed with this device. Although, it’s not an epilator as described and doesn’t work like one in any way, as epilators are basically tiny tweezers that rip the hair out. This just rubs it down.I don’t know if it’ll last the stated three years, but I’d definitely order another again. I very much, 100% recommend trying this out.
