I didn't know what to expect with this but it's easy to use and it works!

Didn't work for me. Had a cyan cartridge registering as empty, tried several times to reprogram... green light on programmer, but printer wouldn't budge.Notably, the little add-on piece that's supposed to hold the cartridge in place, was the wrong one for my cartridges. So maybe I got the wrong unit by accident... or maybe it's because I only buy reman cartridges, I can't afford "genuine Epson". I'm an artist, I do a lot of printing... but I'm also on a fixed income. I'll buy "genuine Epson" when money starts growing on the trees behind my apartment, thank you just the same...At any rate, sure, I get that the instructions say not to wait till it registers empty, but... what's the point of that? The chip only needs reprogramming once the cartridge is empty. Seems like it's a bit useless, if it can't reprogram an empty cartridge. But I'm sure that's not the actual problem, it can't be THAT dumb. I hope.I'll keep it around and the next time a cartridge runs out I'll give it another go, but I'm pretty sure it's on its way to the eWaste bin at this point, a matter of 'when' rather than 'if'... at least it wasn't all that much more expensive than a full set of ink.

I like that it worked exactly like it advertised

The error message for my printer was empty cartridge when it is brand new. According to write-up it should have worked for my EPSON WorkForce 3640. =(

In all its easy to use and does reset the ink level to fill once it successfully updates the chip.The packaging is a little confusing because the listing specified the models it will work with, but they are not listed on the sticker the same way.Some carts required a few tries to get them to recognize as refilled. It would flash the LED green but the printer did not show a change in level. Also as some reviewers mentioned it will make genuine carts appear as non-genuine; this isn’t a problem, the printer just shows messages but will still work. Last if the printer has already decided the cart is fully empty it’s toast and this device will not work. Unfortunately seems to be a limitation of how the printer manages carts.

According to the instructions, this thing was supposed to be compatible with my ink cartridges. Made sure the cartridges were NOT registering empty before trying this. Refilled the Cyan cartridge first. Attached the chip resetter, got a green light, reinserted the cartridge back into the printer, ink level didn't change - still showed about 1/4 full. Tried the black (which was over half full), with same results. Tried turning printer off and on, no change. Well, at least it was cheap!

I was a little skeptical about this little gadget initially, when I went on Amazon to find it there are quite a few so I did not know which one to choose, I made this my selection it came really fast and I was amazed that it worked very well, thank you for making a great product at an affordable price.
