We really like this kettle. We use it daily for coffee or tea and it warms up fast. Only wished it had preset temps for coffee vs tea. Other than that, it looks sharp in black on our counter and works great.

Bought this to start my journey into the coffee world creating the most masterful pourovers. My coffee might not be great, but no fault to this kettle. It's easy to use, boils water rapidly. About 3 minutes from cold to boiled. I like that it has a temperature gauge, so you know exactly what the water temp is at and you can adjust it to your needs. Now I just need to get my grinds and technique right.....

Heats up so fast, keeps the water hot and looks good. I have wanted one for a while, but never found an affordable one. The price was at least half of the others and it works just as well as the ones I have used before. Really happy with this purchase.

Some of the reviews are flat out wrong/misleading, e.g. there is nothing to rust inside mine, but rust is not unhealthy anyway. Inside is non-rusting stainless steel. It does not TURN ON when setting the pot on the base. Yes, the temperature displays briefly, that's all. The on/off button runs the machine. It works fine, BUT when making pour over coffee and repeated pours,it shuts off after you set the pot on the base the 8th time. (It takes more pours if the coffee is ground too fine) The handle is fine, body of pot, hot. The Stay Warm button must be pressed, it does not happen automatically, good. Perfect size for a large 10 fl oz cup of coffee, I pour 300 grams of water for my cup. Description says 0.8 liter, but I'd say 0.7 or 24 fl oz so will do two large cups when filled max water line. When pouring, the temp drops quickly, but when back on base, it reheats quickly, seconds. I think I ordered the right one. WalMart failed to deliver another I ordered, so Amazon it is.

The digital controls were glitchy when it first arrived, and I worked out a return with the company. Then it started working fine, so I kept it. 5 months later and the digital controls are messed up again. The presets don't work, and it only turns on at 104 degrees. I can only raise the temp one degree at a time by pressing the button. It beeps with each press. That means to boil water you have to press the button (and hear the beep) 108 times. Umm, no. I should have returned it when I had the chance.

I love this kettle. I can set it to the right temperature depending on what I’m brewing. It heats up fast, and it can stay on the keep warm function. I never leave it on though, and unplug it as soon as I’m done. Beautiful on my countertop!

*Update is below *It's a nice looking kettle. I like the ability to dial in temperatures. After reading the short manual, operation is easy. The buttonless design is sleek and I love the back lit press points ("buttons" for operation). My main issue with this kettle is that there is no power button/press point. After heating the water, pouring it over my tea, I replaced the kettle on the base and it started heating again. Good thing I didn't leave the house as the kettle was heating to 200 degrees. Not sure when the auto shut off would occur but I'm not taking any chances in relying on the auto shut off or relying on the kettle not turning on again. Also, there is no ability to reduce or turn off the beeping noise when pressing the keys. Not sure who to recommend this to. Perhaps someone who is willing to unplug after every use?I will return and contribute my search for the perfect kettle...UPDATE :: Though there is not a power button the kettle will "go to sleep" after it cools down AND IF you touch the cup icon so that it's not longer blinking/holding temp. If you replace the kettle it automatically continues holding the temp. You can tell the kettle is in sleep mode because the "play/pause" (triangle and equal signs) are illuminated. I have ordered another kettle but I do really like this one. We will see...
