Drs and MDs - where is your voice?
I have read and practiced a lot of these disciplines and principles over the years, but this book brings everything together in such a logical way, and with human compassion and empathy for the patient. The healthcare system is broken by crony capitalism, and through Pharma, Educational Institutions, and government policy all inflicting harm on human life with little care for the consequences. How anyone in this industry can support this agenda, inflicted on society by the usual money men, who have simply used the Ponzi scheme of debt, and taxpayer capital to transfer mass wealth to a very few elites is disgusting and incomprehensible to the everyday person. I read this book, and Dr Casey gives me faith that there are a good few people left fighting against this, but we must all wake up and be tougher with our children and out families to ensure they are eating, resting, educating themselves on the challenges we face in the face of a “Evil System”. I will advocate this book to all, and keep it close to my side to keep me motivated. I wish everyone great cellular energy and spiritual awakening to break the great evil that is upon us from the elites. “United we stand, divided we Fall” bless

EVERYONE needs to read this book!
This is a real eye opener. I watched their interview with Tucker Carlson, and that’s what made me buy the book. I bought a copy for myself, and my mom, and I am going to buy more for other family members. Everyone NEEDS to read this book!!!

could not put this down!
An often shocking insight into how the modern day lifestyle is so detrimental to our health. Lots of science explained well & lots of tips to improve every aspect of your health. An inspirational read.

Recommend this to your uninformed friends. Complete novice will find everything here
Well written and thorough. I enjoyed reading this book. I would say if you are a novice around health you will get immense benefit but if you are already relatively well researched you won’t find a special nugget here. Very much attuned to an American diet but the takeaways can be applied elsewhere.Praise for how accessible the writing style is as for many even a tiny bit of science confuses.

Excellent!
I'm really trying to turn my health around and this book plus, of course, the Levels YouTube channel, is beyond helpful. I'd strongly recommend any of Casey's work (alongside that of Robert Lustig) for gaining insight into your diet, lifestyle and lab checks. It's like having a dashboard for that most important of vehicles - your own body!

Good at explaining the problem, less good on the solutions
As someone who has had very low energy for the last 34 years, I have read a lot of books such as this. There are some interesting snippets of information, but much of the advice is impractical. She asks, "If simple habits like eating whole food, getting enough sleep, practising regular movement and managing stress are so transformational, why do so few people consistently perform them? " If it was so easy to do all these things, then we would have done them. If people have poor mitochondrial function then they are often in a vicious cycle as regards exercise. Post-exertional malaise may mean that exercise makes things worse. If someone has poor sleep and none of the sleep hygiene guidelines have fixed it, then that is a constant drain on energy. The chapter called Four Weeks to Good Energy sounds like a way to turn your life into a treadmill. Some suggestions should be aimed at those people who don't have enough energy to implement the full recommendations.

Very eye opening, great read
I purchased this book after discovering Casey Means on the Huberman Lab podcast. I immediately bought her audio book & absolutely love it! Very eye opening and easy to read or listen to.. goes into great detail but explains concepts in a way that everyone can understand & gives practical advice and steps to move towards changing your life and health for the better. If I could recommend only 1 book for overall health and wellness, it would be this one. Recommended it to all of my friends and family already, read the audio book version and bought the hardcover for my mother the same day I started listening to it. I've read tons of books on health & medicine, this is by far my favorite! I've learned so much new information & really made me take a second look at my "healthy" food/product choices. Thank you Casey Means!!

muy buen libro para conocedores ya del tema, mucha ciencia detras
Me gusto muchísimo ella y todas las explicaciones que da están super bien sustentadas. No me gusto nada que en cada sección se hace hincapié en lo mal que están en USA de salud y todo lo malo del sistema de salud, al final eso me quitó energía al leerlo pero entiendo que el punto es despertar consciencias y esa es una manera de hacerlo.Es algo extrema en sus recomendaciones y en todo éste camino hacia la salud tengo claro que no hay un “one size fits all” y que no está enfocado a quienes ya hacemos muchas de las cosas recomendadas, me gustaría saber que más hay para niveles avanzados…

One of the best health books I've ever read
I would recommend this book for everyone who wants to know the truth about Big Pharma and Big Food industry, the health crisis in US and how to fix it and live a truly healthy lifestyle fueled with Good Energy.

AMAZING!
If you’re going to read one book on health this year, it should be this one. Written in accessible language and provides actionable and adaptable steps for everyone at any stage in life. What I liked the most was how clear it is for anyone to improve their health and also brand/products recommendations (which I find other books lack).
