Systane was recommended by a nurse in my retina specialist's office. I have used it now for about 14 years and am quite satisfied. It isn't so thick it resembles oil and isn't so thin it evaporates like water. It is a happy middle. Buy the large bottles for regular use and the small bottles for your pocket and car.
