velvet is smooth
This ink deserves a 5-star rating because it has a rich blue with just a tinge of purple, and so is perfect for writers who find Royal Blue ink a little too purply. Those who like purple may be a little disappointed, but this is more blue than purple and so should be considered a very different ink. It appears deep and rich, and flows very smoothly, And is just the right amount of wtness so it dries reasonably quickly. It is not too watery and so does not feather.

Not into blue ink, but love this charming shade
I bought this Royal Blue on a whim, having enjoyed this make's Blue-Black. It's been a revelation - lovely for note taking. Have been using for a few months I'm my Lamy Studio (medium nib), and it glides across the page, no feathering or fading, and is delightful to read back. The volume of ink in the bottle is phenomenal, plus the large square base makes recharging my pen a secure and simple process. As someone who's been averse to blue inks in general, this is a really satisfying shade to see emerge from my nib, but also more importantly to read back afterwards.Would buy again in a heartbeat!

Excellent ink
This flows smoothly without smudging and has high colour quality. No hesitations in recommending it.

Very thin
Thought I'd give this a go but, compared to my Mont Blanc ink, that it is replacing, it is very thin and watery. I won't be using it. The ONLY good thing is the colour, which is quite pleasant. You get what you pay for.

Great ink
I’ve not used Diamine ink before, but am very impressed with how it flows when writing. It’s very quick to dry too which is good, preventing transfer when closing a book immediately after writing.

beautiful blue
The ink colour quite matches with the summer sky, and is a positive colour to uplift on a cloudy day. It is non-waterproof ink, which is good for fountain pens as they generally don't clog over long use and is easy to remove from hands. The ink is a bit on wetter side, which is also dependent if the paper is absorbent. On absorbent paper, it dries quickly. The seller send the product within the expected time frame, which is great. Happy with the purchase.
