Build quality issues
The first pen came with its nib housing cracked, so I requested a replacement, which also arrived cracked. Compared it to my less expensive, but better looking Nahvalur demonstrator (see photo) and decided the Conklin wasn't worth repairing to keep. YMMV, but be prepared to maybe replace the nib housing if you get this.

Bought it for the cool and I love Conklins
Really like the stub nib from Conklin. I have three of them. Haven’t used the eyedropper. Except for my Mont Blancs, Conklins are my only fountain pens that will immediately feed ink and write even after setting for weeks. BTW, had a problem with the filler and seller replaced.
