Got this to use with my little solo stove so I could use it on my patio and not worry about flames coming from the top. Does a great job evenly distributing the heat. No ash or smoke from the solo stove.

We live in the PNW. We used our little solo stove to keep the 6 of us warm during chilly summer nights. It is also good for making s’mores and it looks really cute on the table top.

I'd give it 6 stars if I could. I got the stove free from work and thought it was cool. But I wanted the little heat deflector. Bought this one and it works like a champ.

Overall great accessory. Helps spread the heat out to several feet all around. Does cause the fire to produce a bit more smoke, thus only 4 stars

I bought the twin pack of these Solo stoves at Costco and was disappointed with the heat. The deflector helps but doesn't make the stove a great heat source...but it does make it better and good enough to use.The deflector sits on top in what seems like a precarious manner but it works, and if not bumped will stay put.Wear gloves when using. The black soot buildup transfers to your hand, and then to your nose with ease. Not that I had an embarrassing experience with that at all. Look away...look away. Thank you.

I have been waiting forever to buy this product on the Canadian Solo Stove site and no luck. i was lucky to find this on the US Amazon site at a decent price considering taxes, shipping and exchange. It is a sturdy and well made product to compliment the Mesa XL. It always seemed like a waste of heat now this is going to make a difference instead of wasting all that warmth. So glad to have found this and happy that it arrived within a couple days. It is the Solo Stove signature of a well made product. It even includes the storage bag for the heat deflector. You cannot go wrong with this purchase. Product easy to assemble and folds down for storage. Thank you US Amazon you are the answer to completing my Mesa XL in a fast and seamless purchase.

Great addition to my solo stove. Catches the heat and directs it back down where it’s needed. Doesn’t effect the flame brightness or the effects of a outdoor fire pit..

I love my solo stove mesa xl. It’s an easy way to have a nice fire that puts out a good amount of heat. But on the cooler nights in Ohio I was wanting to get the most out of my solo stove, and this heat deflector is a game changer. It pushes all the heat from the fire out towards you and very little heat is wasted out the top. I got it on sale and would 100% pay full price for this addition.
