Fixed my Samsung frost problem!
Just perfect! Fixed a fridge that was frosting up up every two weeks!Easy to install, just be careful of the plastic clip in the fridge this sits in, it has to be prised open without breaking the clip.

Good switch with long cable
Good switch with long cable. Received on time.Revolved my issues and I think every one should do the same when your fridge frost too much. Probably is to do with cancer is fault. Easy to replace just go to you tube and done.

BRILLIANT, my fridge freezer Samsung (NMH1 MODEL) perfectly and it's now been 6 months since it iced up, before I was defrosting it every 3-4 weeks. would definitely reccomend

No More Hairdryers!
Our old Samsung fridge/ freezer just keeps on going with a new one of these every few years to keep it defrosting.A 'white tip' sensor was supplied rather than the black one pictured, but to be honest I've never found either particularly long lasting anyway. Probably worth picking up a couple of spares at this price - handy to have at hand when you start hearing the dreaded 'chirp' that signifies auto defrosting isn't working!

Ordered this part as you tube said!! Together with 2 other parts . I fitted this part first and it made zero difference to my fridge. But I'm sure it's worth it in the long run , I fitted the other 2 parts a week later and my fridge is now 100% working fine. Saved paying a £70 call out from a repair company who would then probably sell me the parts for top dollar plus vat plus this plus that and not fit it as enthusiastically as I have. God bless You Tube !!!

Replacing the sensor did not fix the problem with the build-up of ice.
The ongoing problem (design fault) with many models of Samsung fridge freezers is still ongoing..! Ice continues to build-up in the fridge compartment in the area next to the fan. I've tried a few of the 'recommended modifications', but none have worked. So I wasn't overly surprised when replacing the defrost sensor didn't work. The fall-back solution is to switch the fridge freezer off for 24 hours (to defrost) every 4 weeks or so. Very frustrating. Worse still, asking Samsung (customer service department) for advice is a complete waste of time. I won't make that mistake again..!
