Seems to be good value for money, especially bought as a pack of 12.Package arrived in good order and undamaged." Fantastic" use by date. See photo.Goods received January 25,and use by date for the pack is June 2028.Very tasty corned beef.Can opens with the traditional screwback metal key provided with the can.Sometimes this goes a bit awry and I've to also use a can opener.

Have been looking for a replacement for the great own brand corned beef that Sainsbury's used to sell up until a couple of years ago. They changed their supplier, but that was so bad it had to be withdrawn. I strongly suspect Hertford Corned Beef is the same as the original product, just a different label on the tin. Great taste and excellent with mashed potato.

Can't comment on the taste great price for the case though, bought for the food bank.

Supermarket brand corned beef seems to have disappeared recently with the only option now being Princes, which is very pricey. I love a corned beef hash, so thought I'd try this out. I ordered on the strength of the reviews, but am disappointed. The flavour is pretty good. It's quite strong and highly salted. However, the texture is a real let down. In fact there's very little texture, it's more like a puree. That really affects the quality of the hash. I shall finish the remaining 11 tins, but wouldn't buy again.
