Great henhouse
We bought this in June for our rescue battery hens. We have six of them and they fit comfotably in it. I like that they can have a nest box each if they wish, although they often sleep all together on one side of the house. The house would easily fit a few more hens, however the run would not! It is not large as advertised and is wholey inadequate for 6 chickens, especially once space is taken up by food, water and grit containers. We surrounded the run with a 50m electric fence which creates a much more adequate enclosure for their needs. House wise, I assembled it by myself in an hour, it looks great and so far is weather proof. The access is good for both cleaning and egg collection.

Nice looking coop
A very nice little coop. Easy to put up, however there were some screws missing so I had to use my own. It’s a decent size for six hens and the run is quite spacious. Personally, I would have had the roosting bars about six inches higher to give more space for the straw and the birds don’t like to be that close to the floor. We have no foxes round here so that’s not an issue, but at 1500ft in the North Pennines it remains to be seen how it stands up to our winter winds. Perfectly ok for most people’s gardens and reasonable for the price.

This product has not lasted at all well. The tray for removing the waste gets stuck and is hard to realign. Several parts have broken off. Just not made to last- I have used it for barely one year as I started with it last Easter.

Build quality
I brought this item the downside is it's a touch small ..the picture makes it look much larger . But the quality is fantastic and it looks stunning . I will buy another

value for money coop
My six bantums love this coop, the run would not be big enough for them for the whole day. It was constructed by one person and meets the needs we have. It might not be strong enough to withstand a badger attack but is robust enough to use in a secure area.

Cocoon 1000 coop and run
This product was delivered promptly and in good order. The hen house looks good in the garden and is easy to assemble. 1 keep two hens in the hen house and let them have the run of the garden. However, it would house four large hens in comfort. The tray and hinges are a little flimsy but overall it is very good value for money.
