Cheap but not all the buttons work

I've got a couple of older LG TVs - a 42" Plasma and a 22" LCD screen, however can only find one remote.This remote works flawlessly with both of my "nougthies" era LG TVs. Some of the buttons have different icons or text but the photos in the product listing will help guide you - although the remote is pretty intuitive to use. It comes without instructions or batteries - you will need two AAA batteries to get going. No setup or complicated pairing to do, the remote just works out the box.You can quickly access important features such as setup and source and the remote will support smart LG TVs with the inclusion of buttons for Netflix and Amazon Prime.The remote is curved at the back to cater for the battery compartment however when batteries are inserted the battery cover does bulge ever so slightly. You can mitigate this a bit by pressing down on the cover as you slide it into place and it is barely noticeable - just a strange design quirk.The buttons are clear and responsive and this remote is great value for money.

It’s always good to have a replacement controller as I always find these need replacing before the TV does. This product itself is a good copy of the original, the buttons overall feel good quality and respond quickly.I have no complaints with this device - it is easy to use and works well with my LG TV. It’s simple to connect to the TV - simply insert the batteries and it automatically pairs and works straight away (no programming needed which is efficient).It is worth noting that once the two AAA batteries are inserted into this controller there is a slight bulge on the back battery compartment (but this is only minor and doesn’t affect the functionality). So, for the price point of £5.99 (upon this review) I would recommend this item as it is a reasonable price for the quality product you receive.

This product was provided by Amazon vine!Al thought this technically isn’t the right remote for my LG tv, it is still compatible. I have a LG smart tv, and my dog has a very annoying habit of stealing the remote and stashing it within the garden! .. so needless to say I love having a spare in the house! We have 3 LG TV’s in our home that all have the same remote so this would work on any of them. Great that it has the ‘Netflix’ button and ‘prime’ button as many of them don’t.Perfect spare that will no doubt come in handy very soon!Remote takes 2 x AAA batteries. Which are not included.

The remote has rubber buttons that are clearly marked for most functions but some dedicated buttons that were on my old original remote are missing ,for example the 3d and settings buttons but it is smaller than the one it replaces measuring approximately 165mm by 45 mm .I can access and operate the most commonly used functions such as volume ,channels ,standby ,input etc using this remotes dedicated buttons and by pressing the homepage button and curser control buttons I can gain access to and operate the settings and 3d functions so it's fine.After my original remote stopped working on my old lg tv i could not use it. This remote does the job and made it usable again and for a low price so I'm happy to recommend it.

The media could not be loaded. As usual, the package arrived very quickly from Amazon.This NHONGYE LG TV Remote Control Replacement arrived in a plastic bag.I ordered this remote control as some of the buttons on my original were playing up, I had to press them several times, at first I thought it may have been the batteries, so I replaced them with new ones, still no joy so I ordered this one.I took it out of the bag, shot the unboxing video, then went into my bedroom room to try it out, put new batteries in and started pressing buttons, it worked right away, the buttons are not in exactly the same order as the original but most are, all of the buttons I normally used worked except one, the ‘Record’ button, as this was missing altogether, I have a hard drive connected, so I have to go into the TV guide and record from there.Another button that was missing was the ‘Guide’ button, so to get to the TV guide you have to press the ‘List’ button, toggle left and press ‘OK’.Plus there are buttons on this remote that aren’t on the original one I received with my TV, please take a look at my photo of this remote on the left, and the original one on the right.I could go through everything that’s in the listing description but I’m sure you have already read it before reading my review, so I won’t repeat it, you can see the unboxing in my video, this is just my personal experience with it.At the time of writing this review the price is £5.99, for this price if you do a quick search you will find others that look exactly like the original, with all the same buttons.The squares on the table I use when photographing and videoing are there so you can use them to help you judge the size of items I photograph or video, the small squares are 1cm square and the larger ones are 5cm squares.I hope you have found this review and video helpful.
