Lockon Stratos targeting and firing!
From the series Gundam 00 comes the Dynames Gundam. This is a snap together model kit needing little paint and no glue. This one like many in it's scale is missing a few colors so if you care you can paint it. It needs grey on the green shoulder shields on certain places and grey on the sides of the legs and green on parts of the torso. Also underneath the clear domes you have to put these black stickers which make for a lackluster effect, but if you skip the stickers and paint the area silver where the domes go over and paint the underside of the clear domes green you can have an amazing effect. It comes with only one weapon being it's signature GN sniper rifle, this being a problem since in the anime it also comes with two pistols which were it's mainstay considering enemy mobile suits would often come too close. Another problem armament-wise is that it gives you beam saber hilts but have no beams. In terms of stability it is okay, mine tends to fall over at times, so it is recommended to use a stand. Poseability is okay but the ankles and hips aren't too great so you can't make anything too special but one good thing to note is that you can have both arms hold on to the sniper rifle which many models in this scale cannot do. All together this model is good, it is worth picking up even if you haven't seen the series but don't expect anything extraordinary. Doesn't mean it's bad, it is great just not amazing.

Great, but not all it could be
As a newcomer to Gundam model construction, I found this kit to be an excellent set. The pieces are sturdy with solid connections, and even at the 1/144 scale it's highly detailed - almost like a build-your-own action figure. Even left unpainted, the model still looks great. The instructions are in Japanese, but the figures are well-labeled and very easy to follow (even for a rookie like me). However, it's not as great as it could be. The kit includes the GN sniper rifle and hilts for the sabers (which click into their holders on the model's posterior), interchangeable stands for the rifle (folded and extended) and interchangeable left hands (closed fist or open), but that's about it. Full-length sabers would have been a nice touch, or at least the GN pistols frequently seen in the series. The lack of those pistols was my greatest disappointment. Also, while the joints are easy to move for poses, some of them move a little too freely, especially the ball joints at the head and hips - making posing a little tricky.Overall, a very good kit. I was not disappointed with the Gundam, only the lack of accessories.Pros:- Sturdy construction, high poseability- Full shield- General good replication of series' details- Requires no glue or paint- Easy-to-follow instructionsCons:- Sabers, but no blades- Rifle, but no pistols- Joints can get a little loose

Locked In and Ready to Build
Great for starters, I got this and the Exia HG models and put the Exia together first and found that a little tricky. But it was my first time building any Gundam and yet I got done in 3 days (lots of sanding and trimming due to my OCD).I got this one done in 2 days, not that it can't be built in one sitting. My only problem with both HG Exia and Dynames were applying the "eyes" stickers. The Exia one just didn't work and I accept that as user error. This one I was much more careful with but still it didn't align to the eyes raised in the head unit.My biggest complaint is that the right side shoulder mounts for the shields are super loose and just thrashes around and affects poseability but it's not awful, some maneuvering can correct for it. But this is HG so that is totally fine. MG and RG are supposed to be much more detailed and tighter tolerances and the ultimate are Metal Builds with the metal frames and hinges which are proper action figures (thus expensive). But get some practice with these HGs first. They're very detailed for their size and correct colored parts for the most part. This was A LOT of fun and satisfying at the end.BUT becareful, this is NOT for kids younger than 10. there are a lot of small parts that are a choking hazard for babies, toddlers, under 10s, and cats.Additionally, if you got a cat, he/she will want to play with the tiny parts and accessories. One of mine loves the Exia's beam saber and thinks of it like his personal weapon...and toothpick. lol10/10, would recommend!

Awesome and underrated HG00 kit!
Lockon is my favorite 00 pilot and Dynames is my favorite 00 Gundam so of course I had to get this! While it's not as flashy as the MG (it lacks the pistols, its open bipod is white for some reason, and it's targeting mode sucks), it still has some neat detail and features. Definitely get this if you want a good HG but can't get the MG! Some paint doesn't hurt either, but it still looks good without it!

Good starter figure
Good for the price but if your barely starting on gunpla know that this is a 5” figure it took me 2an half hours to build for my first time without the right clippers and sanding. I’m going mg next time to get a better figure more detailed. But over nice for a starter kit

Flexible
The gundam is very cool. Neil Dylandy and his Dynames were my favorite characters in the anime. I loved him. So when they made a HG for him I was stoked. I got it really quick. The box was clean and the plates had no broken pieces. Building the model was fun, of course. And when it was done, it looked great. I know it was missing some grey on the legs and the red stripes on the v-fin have to be painted too. No beam sabers or beam pistols here either. But the full shield and the GN Sniper was enough for me. The model bends very good. It holds its poses nicely. The sniper can sometimes droop down a little but that is fine with me. Just make sure you don't break the big shield bits. I broke them and fixed it with super glue, but some posability is lost. Elbows bend a awesome 160 and knees bend 170 with double joints. Overall this gundam is one of the best HGs made.

Where and how was this stored?
The item arrived on time and I assume it's ok but the box came covered in slimy gunk on a corner and front.
