Bought to install on a ledge behind our sofa alongside an LED strip. The quality is amazing, design is great with the usb A & C.A small but great thing is that the screws supplied are also black - more times than not you get supplied silver screws with a black product5 stars

This arrives in a plain white cardboard box measuring approx 23cm x 9cm x 7cm.Inside, you get the main power box with a 180cm long lead attached, a packet with 2 screws inside for fixing the frame to the surface you are setting it into & a small instruction leaflet.It's surprisingly light even considering how small it is.To fit the box, you will need a hole measuring 16cm x 5.7cm & at least 7cm of space behind/below it for the body of the box to sit in.The power lead comes out of the back of the box, so you need some extra room for that which is why I've added an extra cm to the 6cm measurement.You also need to route the cable to an existing socket as it's basically an extension lead.The front of the box measures 19.6 cm x 6cm.This has 2 standard UK sockets & 2 USB charging sockets.It has no lights on it to indicate if it is live or not & there are no switches on it, so to turn it off you would need to turn it off at whichever socket you have plugged it into.I would have preferred it to have an on/off switch.I got this to fit into one of my sofas, as there always seems to be someone sitting on it wanting to charge a phone or tablet, or to plug in a laptop.The lead was too short for me to place it where I had originally intended (by about 10cm!), so I haven't fitted it for now & I'm using it as a regular extension lead.I am not impressed with the screws which are silver coloured & really stick out.I've swapped mine out for some black ones which don't show up from across the room.I would prefer this had a power on/off switch, or a small LED to show it was on for safety reasons.My biggest dislike though, is the fact that this comes with one of those fused plugs that are factory sealed, so you will either need a hole big enough to plug the entire 3 pin plug though or you will need to cut the plug off & replace with your own if you have a smaller hole to put the wire though when coming out of the back of your piece of furniture.I think ideally, this should come with a 3m length of wire & a plug for you to fit after you have put it in place.I wouldn't recommend fitting this into anything expensive unless you are really sure you know what you are doing.For plonking in a melamine desktop, it's not bad at all, just as long as you are close to a socket already.I love the idea of this, but I will be looking for a better executed solution before I cut holes in any of my furniture.

Excellent quality for the price. 1st one was damaged, but no issues replacing it. Installed this in a utility room, now sits at the back of my workspace and makes it look very stylish.

Ideal for self converted campervansHaving installed this in a campervan which I found very easy and quick to do it gave me the option of two extra plugs and two extra usb which was sunken into the furniture in the van. It looks super and is so versatile it will fit basically anywhere.

The media could not be loaded. I had a new kitchen fitted and have a mirror splash back fitted along the entire length of the back wall. I wanted to avoid having unsightly plug sockets spoiling the unbroken reflection from the mirror. I had these sockets placed in the underside of the upper kitchen cupboards. They are the perfect solution!!They fulfil the requirements and more.Obviously this isn't the conventional usage but my idea has worked exceptionally well.

Brought 16 of these for a new office set up and they’re great. Exactly what we needed, easy to fit, look smart and clean and so far no issues with either the plugs or USB. Really good value for money. Would recommend.
