Q: can they hold liquid?

Quit a few of mine arrived broken all ready but I wouldnt advice putting liquid in them, maybe try one out and see? It might hold at first but eventually start to leak. I think aside from having no seal the weight of the liquid would separate the halves.

Q: Are you able to replace the broken ones that came in my packet? All are not unusable, but 4 balls are cracked and unusable.

Yes contact the seller, they sent out new ones for me, cracking really is unavoidable so I purchased the metal and I love them. I do not use these anymore.

Q: Can I use gorilla glue to bond the two pieces together to keep it shut, or can someone recommend a heavy duty glue that will dry clear?

I assume you could use any type of glue on these. they are a kind of hard plastic kind of like what you might get a toy in from a gumball machine.
