Solid phone, great battery
This is the fourth Samsung android phone I have purchased through the Amazon guarantee program. All phones have performed flawlessly. And they were about one fourth the price of new units. The first two I bought MANY years ago were the S7's. They lasted forever and fit our needs. The newer S23's certainly have more bells and whistles but also seem robust. ( We have had them about 8 months)

Careful who you buy refurbished from.
Great phone, exactly what I was looking for and works fine as a refurbished phone This is the first phone that has worked since buying and returning the last two refurbished over one month. Tip: if you buy a refurbished phone make sure it's from Amazon Refurbished. There's other suppliers who don't test their phones adequately before shipping.

I don't typically upgrade phones until I have to. I've always gone with Samsung and for the most part I've never had issues.

Stolen Phone, Do Not Buy
Do not buy. Verizon has blocked the IME# to this phone because they its a stolen phone. I got this back in June 2024 for my mother. Keep in mind there is no contract for service. It is paid on a month to month basis. It would work for a few months then the cell company would shut down the service even though she was up to date on the service bill. She would call and complain and they would turn it back on. Then the same would happen again and again. At the last interaction with that cell phone company they said they cannot provide service to it because it is a stolen phone. So I thought is was just bad service and I tried switching her to a new cell service. Its the same story, they say the cannot activate it because there is a block on the phone by Verizon. I am going to buy a new phone right now direct from the Samsung website. Where do I go to or how do I get all my time that I have wasted on this phone?

Phone in new condition.
Nice phone. Not as much battery life as I'd like. A bit less battery life and lower screen resolution than s20.
