Fits Kindle Fire HD 10 Gen 7
Perfect fit for HD 10 Generation 7. The Gen 7 screen is NOT glue'd, just have to carefully pop screen away from plastic back. Used a different tool kit but the small tool bag that comes is sufficient, just take your time. Also note that if replacing your original battery, its attached to a flexible aluminum bracket. Getting your current battery off that bracket will be tough if not impossible due to the strong adhesive. You'll bend the bracket pretty bad in the attempt. I ended up taking the old bracket out with the old battery still attached and just putting this battery in the same location which has a dedicated space and with the cover back on there is little to no movement and the battery is fine. Lastly the battery plug on the board comes UP and away from board, like a small lego. The new plug can only go on one way and snaps right in - you want the old plugs UP and it will pop right in with small pressure. If it doesn't go in with a gentle push, reverse as you most likely have it reversed.

Worked out of the box.
Worked like a charm out of the box. Rather interesting opening the Amazon Kendal and separating the battery from the frame.

Updated
Well, can't comment on battery life, although it looks first class. But the torx driver is too large for my very tiny screws. Yeah, it also included flat head and phillips drivers, but the dang torx just doesn't fit. Doubt I'll find one that small at the hardware store. Update; my mistake... I assumed the metal backing plate had to be removed, (T5 torx). This is not the case

Replaced the battery in my tablet with this.
I ordered this to replace the original battery in my 10.1" tablet that had lost power, then puffed up after plugging in to charge. The voltage and amp-hours ratings were a close match, and I only had to splice in and solder the connections to change from the 6 wire plug to the 5 wire plug from the old battery. I plugged this new battery in then, finished taping the battery down against the back of the screen, and assembled the back to the front of the tablet. Turned it on, finding it at 50% charge and key functions and the display worked. Then, turned it off and attached to the tablet's original charger to bring the charge to 100%. After 3 days and 2 recharges, the discharge rate MAY be a little faster than on the original battery, but overall, I am happy with this new battery's performance and very glad I was able to continue using my tablet with it installed.
