Outperforms a lot of other coolers
When buying a cooler for my cpu, I spent a long time researching on which one to get since you can of course spend a lot on a cooler and the performance doesn’t match up with how much you pay. Saw in one of the videos I was watching and they mentioned how this cooler has one of the best performance for price of any cooler, which instantly compelled me.The cooler design is great and I really do suggest getting the RGB version if it’s the same price but sadly the normal cooler was cheaper when I purchased mine.It comes with literally everything you need minus the screwdriver. Has thermal paste too which is such a nice touch and it’s a whole little tube so you can use it for other things too or store it for whenever.Easy to install following the video and no real complaints, performance is of course very good and my Ryzen 5 5600X idles around 35-38 degrees Celsius and maxes out at around 45–48 degrees according to the monitoring software which I used which is HWMonitor. With that I would highly recommend getting this over other coolers like the deep cool ak coolers, since they are over double the price and the thermal right performs even better then them. You can watch some reviews of it and it will give you a better idea. But easily the best one in my opinion at the price range and can’t go wrong.

Really good cooling when paired with a Ryzen 9 5900x
Fitting the Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 to an AMD Ryzen CPU is much the same as most other coolers with a decent clamping mechanism - just attach the plates to the existing rear plate, apply the thermal paste, insert the screws and clamps, then add the two fans in the orientation you want. Simple! The cooling fins are slightly offset to the base so that you can mount in a way that avoids fouling any close memory modules - good bit of design! I purchased the older version purposefully as it has rubber mounts over the more modern plastic ones which is better at reducing fan noise and vibration. The noise of the fans is basically silent - there is a slight air noise but really nothing to complain about at all. Most importantly, the performance is brilliant - very good air cooling and currently my Ryzen 9 5900x is sitting at 25 degrees whilst web browsing, overclocked to 4.2Ghz at 1.09 volts at the core. The fan speed is 383 RPM and all of the chassis fans are currently not running with exception of a rear vent at 600RPM - so its almost completely silent at the moment. If I fire up a utility such as Photoshop and perform some filter renders, the processer is cooled to 35 degrees C at 4.3Ghz and 385RPM on the fans.AfterEffects live playback and encoding seems to have little effect over the Photoshop temperatures.I don't generally play games on my PC so I can't comment on this. So, seems to work great at keeping my CPU very cool and almost totally silent - very happy indeed with the cooler!

Great value for money good quality product
The cooling system is great. It provides more then adequate cooling to my computer, would recommend anyone to buy this if they are making a computer on a budget and want good quality. Great value for money. Was a bit of smug fit in my computer because of my layout but may fit fine in some else's. The noise levels are next to nothing on silent mode.

Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 - Great for the £38 or so I paid
Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 White CPU Air CoolerThis is an excellent cooler for the £38 I paid but I have noticed it's gone up since I bought it a few weeks ago to around £50.I used it to cool a 5700X3D after upgrading from a 3700X with the STD Wraith Prism cooler, yes it's BIG but it is very very simple to fit if you're even remotely dextrous and I must say even though it has two fans it is WAY quieter and WAY cooler than the STD AMD cooler with a hotter running CPU.Very impressed with this IF you get it for the price I did.BE AWARE, there are other Peerless Assassin coolers with the "SE" moniker that are a little cheaper but they also don't have the nicer aesthetic and finish that this has, as far as I know they perform the same but look a little "cheap" as there are no cappings on the fin stacks.I did wish it had RGB fans as std but I ended up buying some Thermalright RGB fans as well because my son wanted two white non RGB fans for his case so he used the Assassin fans and I replaced those with the Thermalright RGB ones, looks great now with a nice glow through the fin stack. So yeah, I probably paid £50+ in the end anyway to get it looking how I wanted.

Great value.
For the money you cant complain. In fact I was surprised with the product. Works great. Keeps my cpu at good temps, whilst gaming.

Easy install, great cooling performance.
Significant upgrade over the stock cooler. Easy to install and looks better than the original amd cooler. The cooling difference is massive, I went from 50⁰ at idle to 30⁰ and only 64⁰ at full CPU usage. It fits well In an atx case but might struggle to fit in a smaller case. This is probably the best value CPU cooler at this price point.

Reduced my CPU temps considerably
Running games I was hitting 75oC Now it averages 45 oC and goes no higher than 55 oC Amazing CPU cooler. I have now overclocked my i7 8700K on all cores to 5ghz. Temp now averages at 55 oC and max out at 70 oC which is perfect! No need for fancy water cooling.
