I thought I had a transmission going out, bucking and surging.I thought my alternator was overcharging, at 15 volts.Hooked up scanner and it reported P0106, bad MAP sensor.Put this new one on (very, very easy on my 2008 Grand Prix) and WOW!Miracle cure !

First of all I bought this for a 2000 Chevrolet blazer this product is advertised to fit a Chevy Blazer it does not fit a Chevy Blazer it is poorly made it is cheaply made it doesn't even compare to the original one but this truck about a year ago trying to get it up to date nowadays found this for 10 bucks thought it'd be a good deal apparently it's too cheap and just not correct you can see the side by side between the old one and the new one the new one is the one that broke and if you look at the pictures the spout from the sensor lines up with the hole but it doesn't line up with the brackets that secured in place not only did it break easily it's not even made correctly so I wouldn't even bother with this at least from this purchaser or the seller find another one couple bucks more get one that looks a lot more legit plastic broke with no effort not the first time I've swapped out this part before not the first time I've replaced any parts on cars this is just too cheap and too delicate probably a good summer's day would have already melted and destroyed the sensor.

Of all the products that I saw, this was identical to part I got from vehicle. Down to the number, guide piece at the 3 pin connection, etc. and this was also the cheapest. Now hopefully this will fix my Pontiac. Will update if necessaryUPDATE: perfect match for 04 Grand Prix. Fixed the issue (p108 code)and car runs great

This item does not fit 2001 Blazer 4.3 due to the stem and gasket backwards to the original ; won't allow installation in the bracket.Didn't return ite because it became damaged in trying to install. ended up using original until I find compatible item.
