Works Great!
I have recently been diagnosed with lymphodema. I have a leg that oozes lymphatic fluid so I must use these super absorbent pads with gauze and tape to absorb it. These work great! they are also less expensive than other products which do the same job. I rated them low on adhesion because they have no adhesive on them. You must use gauze and tape or just tape to hold them in place. In my case, I don't want any adhesive product on them as it would cause me great pain when I would have to remove them. I highly recommend this product for its absorbency and its lower cost.

Watch what you use them for..
These definitely are not the best that I have used, but not the worst either.. I will give good and bad points about these.Watch what kind of a wound that you put these on.. If it is a surface wound that can be easily cleaned and accessed, then these will work fine for that.. But if you look at the pictures, you will see that the wound side of the bandage has a lot of loose fibers on them.. They got like this after using them, and they got saturated.. Because of this, if any of those loose fibers breaks off and gets into a deep wound, then it can cause problems. That is why I would stay away from these for deep wounds as a surface to skin application where you may not be able to see all crevices deeper down. The picture is wrong.. and so is the title.. These are NOT waterproof.. They have 2 versions of the 4x4.. One has silicone and and adhesive border, one does not.. I got sent the one that does not.. Which means, the picture, and waterproof listing parts are wrong, but the non adhesive part of the title is right.. They need to fix the listing, which I am not going to report to have it fixed..They claim that these are more absorbent than an ABD pad.. Half right.. If you are talking about the Covidien brand ones, then I would have to agree.. Those are really thin ABD pads.. In fact, I weighed them, pad only, on a scale, and they only weighed 2.4 ounces for 12 of them.. 12 of my other brand weighed 4.4 ounces because they have about double the absorbent material in them.. With that being said, I would say that these are way more absorbent then the Covidien ABD pads, but just slightly less absorbent then my regular ABD brand pads.. FYI.. The reason I do no mention the other brand is because I have tried many brands over the years, and they have all been pretty equal except for the Covidien brand ones.If you look at the pictures, I show in one picture how the look when new.. Then I have 2 other pictures of one that was cut in half used. You can clearly see that they did absorb a decent amount of fluid, and they also expanded to make themselves thicker because of it.. You can see this by looking at the thickness of them in the center vs the very edge where it did not get as much fluid.I personally was hoping that these had the little absorbent beads in them that absorbed the fluid, like another brand that I found on here.. But I found out that they weren't..I am going to rate these on just the bandages abilities, and leave out the errors since I am going to report them to get them fixed.. and on that note, they do not work that bad.. I have other stuff that I like a lot more, so I doubt that I will make another purchase of these once they are gone, but that is my use, and someone else might like these a lot more than I do.. Which is why I am not taking anything off for that. After all. I have seen worse bandages that cost a lot more.. So this is one of those, you get what you pay for times..

Good for the price
This item works good but if you have heavy draining wounds then I don't recommend, although I have to say they do absorb a lot but if you have heavy draining wounds it will start leaking after a while
