Nice laptop
I wanted a laptop which had hyper v capabilities, backlit keyboard., 16gb ram, and 512gb ssd storage. I got all of that. That way I could run programs that I needed to on linux and run all my programs on windows in a VM simultaneously. If there is any complaint I have it is that it appears that the E and R keys are backwards like maybe Russian or something? It doesn't really bother me, I'm a touch typist anyway. Anyway it's a talking point. But the laptop does what I need it to do, so I am pleased.Edit: After 6 months, I have to say, this machine is still running quite well. I am not pleased with Acer support though. I use this machine in Ham Radio. I bring it out in the field, and I need it to run on a battery. I asked them a very point blank question of what dimensions the DC jack was, so I could hook it to a buck convertor on my battery. They pointedly told me that they didn't want customers to do that, and pointed me to the A/C power brick instead. So I made a guess as to what the DC jack was, ordered it, and a very sizeable buck convertor, and it works JUST FINE. Idiots! I guess they are used to talking to customers that don't know anything about computers or electricity.
