I love it!

exactly like the tv show
Honestly theres almost nothing different from the show, every scene, every dialogue. The only thing is you get internal dialogues - in the chapters from Georges point if view, you get to be in his head.

Well Written
Bridgerton fan from Netflix here. By far, Queen Charlotte & King Georgeās story is my absolute favorite! Their love story had me crying! Bought the book because I loved the series on Netflix. Must mention that I have not read any of the other Bridgerton books, so this was my first one. Juila Quinn and Shonda Rhimes did a fantastic job with QC in the book + the tv show. I like how the book was outlined, as it was actually well written and easier to understand more of each characterās story. However, the book did not rotate between past and present time like how the show had. The book fasts forward at the very end when QC visits KG and tells him the āgood news.ā The tv show is notorious for all of the steamy scenes, but I honestly appreciate that the book was not so x-rated and moreso an actual softer romance. Although, the book can much like re-reading the very same lines from the show, so if you had watch it before reading the book, it can be repetitive and pointless. There are some details that I do think is worth reading that the show did not include and some scenes were definitely not the same as the book. Overall, I love both the book and tv series. Might even say I love the book more. Willing to read/watch another book/season if they choose to continue Queen Charlotte!

All heart!
I have yet to watch Queen Charlotteās show and thatās deliberately because I had to read the book first! Man this story just full of all kinds of feels. Thereās good humor. Mostly Will fill and tug at the heart so have Kleenex ready. It paints a story of true love enduring despite serious obstacles. Julia and Shonda do not disappoint. They do a great job of bringing the many complex levels of a separated society, romantic relationships, & friendships together seamlessly!! Absolutely adore this story. It gives me a new levels of respect and admiration for women, mothers, Augusta, Charlotte, and Agatha especially! As a woman of color, I appreciate the efforts of Julia and Shonda so much. Awesome read!

Beautiful, Poignant, Lovely
I donāt know what possessed me to choose this next read because I neither watched nor read anything Bridgerton-related (I had to look up what āTonā meant) ever. Iām so glad I did though, their chemistry was all over my social media and I thought wow this story might have been true after all. The love story between King George III and Queen Charlotte was beautiful, not only was it romantic, it also provided further social commentary on supporting and living with mental illness. Until that very end where they reminisce about how they met, even when George was already mentally declining, it was such a beautiful scene to behold. I might watch it soon, Iāve truly become a fan on this day.
