Solid Wood Desk, 63' Mid-Century Modern, Writing Desk, Home Office Workstation

I'm rating this desk 5 stars because I think the value is incredibly good for the money, you won't find a nicer solid wood desk at this price point ANYWHERE. However, expect a few problems, because this really is too good a deal to expect a perfect product.Personally, mine had a bit of (repairable) damage from shipping, I needed to glue a piece on the underside, one of the knob things wasn't varnished, and some of the finish is rough in parts. The drawers also have no stops, so you may want to put some in. However, the assembled desk is beautiful, feels nice and sturdy, and the shelf underneath is a nice feature. It's also simple enough to figure out how to put together despite the mediocre instructions (wide gold screws are for the legs, small gold screws are for the knob things, silver screws are for everything else).If you want a nice wooden desk without having to break the bank and don't mind doing a little work on it? This is the desk for you. If you want something that's perfect out of the box, maybe increase your budget a bit.

Hands down the finest wood table you can get. It's so nice I can't find anything of similar quality on the site. Insanely good valuem my grades even got better! (I'm serious they did.) I don't see any imperfections from poor shipping or make. The assembly was very easy- takes like 30 mins. As you can see it can fit a 40 something inch TV with room to spare if you wanted. Is very sturdy but I would definitely not do anything dumb like sit on it.Keep it clean and be careful with this one. It's even better in person. The finish is so nice to look at! I can't praise it enough. It's not even hard to move despite the weight of the wood. Even smells good!

I had this desk in my cart for a few weeks, waiting for the $50 coupon to drop but couldn't wait any longer. It is a solid, sturdy desk and was not hard to assemble. However, the two hooks on the side to hang headphones, etc., could not be installed as instructed because there was no opening on the inside of the lip. Instead there was one opening that did not go through to the other side, and two additional openings on the bottom side of the lip that served no purpose. I didn't intend to hang anything so I didn't install the two hooks but it was strange. I bought the desk for its long width and relatively short depth, which I needed for my small bedroom. I also bought it for the shelf on at the foot of the desk although it is only 5" in depth so it can't hold anything deeper than 10" without falling. All in all, it looks great, no scratches or dents except for the inability to install the 2 hooks. One disadvantage was the absence of any drawers and I initially thought it would be easy to simply buy some self-adhesive drawers but there is a 3" lip on all sides that prevent me from installing any drawers so I will have to think of another solution. All in all, I was really on the fence but I am glad I made the purchase.

Came broken the first time so I was sent a new one, for the second one there’s bubbling in the paint and a slight scratch in the which are manageable but only one side came with the hole to screw in the headphone holder thing. The first one I sent back because it was broken at the hole on both sides. Bad luck the side I needed is the one with no whole :/ over all not bad quality just bad experience

Don’t buy this. It’s not worth it. It is not as long as it appears. The shelf under it won’t hold anything. It’s too skinny. Two chairs won’t fit either. Easy to assemble. The color matches my other furniture. I planned on putting a lot under it.

OK, so the first time I ordered this desk they actually sent me the wrong product and I had to send it back after waiting two weeks. So here I am a month later finally getting it in.It was actually quite easy to set up, although it did not come with instructions, it’s pretty self-explanatory. The pieces were a lot sturdier than I expected, and I shook the desk a lot while building it to make sure everything was tight properly.It didn’t have any damage on it and I ran into no issue with scratches. After putting it together I realized it was so spacious and I love the shelf on the bottom.I got a mouse pad desk cover as I am in school and work from home so I do want to pretend as much scratching as possible, but after decorating it and setting it up, it is now my favorite thing in my room. I was expecting some thing a lot cheaper quality, and this went past my expectations!!I’m so happy I took the gamble after reading the reviews.

The 63” desk/table aesthetic is fabulous but the quality was so disappointing. I was so excited to open the box and the first thing I saw was the scratch on the table top…okay that’s manageable but then piece after piece had issues - there are only 5 pieces of wood in the whole assembly, how are all of them damaged?! The worst issue was one of the leg pieces was missing its insert so there was nothing for the bolt to screw into. Just a bored out wooden hole. We had to take the leg piece and bolt to the hardware store to macgyver a solution. As with most furniture the directions were lacking and two different sized Allen keys for one item is always a pain (normally would not take away stars for that but I’m here anyway). Finally, while I appreciate an extra screw or two, I ended up with 13 extra pieces of hardware? I’m honestly wondering about the quality checks this manufacturer has in place. The wood is heavy and the design is great but for nearly $500 after taxes I expected much better quality.Okay, so why did I keep it? 1. I didn’t want to hassle with returning such heavy item. 2. Most of the damage is hidden (hopefully a wood stain pen can cover the scratch on the top) and finished product looks fabulous in my space.Would I buy from this seller again? Absolutely not.
