The lot number and expiration date are clearly stamped on the bottom of the bottle. The expiration date promises a good, long, unopened shelf life should I decide to store it- I don’t! It’s nice to know that it CAN be stored, though, if needed.The bottle contains 60 capsules. At one a day (which is the recommended dose— remember to check with your OWN health professional!) they will supply two months’ worth of supplementation.The labeling and the information listed on the info page shows a quality product produced responsibly and thoughtfully.If you need berberine, I encourage you to try this brand!

I got this because I've heard of all the health benefits of Berberine. Plus I thought it wouldn't hurt if it helps me lose a little weight (only looking to lose about 10 lbs, I'm not actually overweight). But taking only one of these 500mg pills a day almost completely took away my appetite after taking them for a couple weeks! I don't feel sick or nauseated, but most food just doesn't sound good at all. So if you're looking to lose weight in that way these might work for you. Personally I don't like my appetite being completely gone though. So I just bought some 250mg berberine pills (another brand) and I'll see if that's better for me. :)

Have not seen or felt and differences

I’m on my second bottle of Berberine. I’ve been taking one capsule after each meal, and it definitely makes me feel full for a longer period of time. I don’t have the urge to snack between meals anymore!

I liked the product and I did lose some weight but the one thing I didn't like is it made me bloated. That was the only side affect that I had. Reading about the product says it could take up to five months for the bloating to go away. That is too long for me.

Berberine is commonly used as a natural supplement to help with blood issues. With high blood sugar levels, high cholesterol and high blood pressure, Berberine can help with this. I consult with my doctor on natural supplements to try before they want to put me on prescription drugs for these problems. Blood tests will tell the tale if it works. Of course a good diet and some exercise is necessary or i dont think any supplement or drug can help with those conditions. Hopefully in a few months my blood test results with be better with the berberine supplement helping out. pills are easy to swallow, no weird taste for me. price is pretty good for the quantity you get.
