it Really works well
They are compact in size and you'll need to be young or have glasses to install wires. It is perfect in every other aspect. It is used for the rotor on my tower and I need to disconnect during a lightning storm. It goes together solid and I couldn't be more pleased.

GREAT IDEA...impossible to assemble!!!!!!!!!
These connectors are ideal for certain situations, but having to assemble them with the tiny little cylinders and poor design will make your life miserable! It's virtually impossible to assemble these without pulling all your hair out in the process. The wire must make an incredibly tight turn leaving the wires, especially the middle one, completely bent and under crazy amounts of stress which will undoubtedly make them fail eventually. I am returning these and buying straight connectors instead. MAYBE, JUST MAYBE, they would be easier to assemble using the smaller gauge wire, but the smaller gauge wire isn't the same as the twisted pair wire with a thick coat and metal shield you would want to use in a NMEA 2000 network.
