I have purchased other binder-ready looseleaf textbooks before and this is the first time I have had a problem getting the pages to load into a binder, any binder. The 8.5 x 11 binders seem to have the spacing of the rings very standardized, and most publishers seem to make their looseleafs with the correct kind of size and spacing for the holes. This is not going to hold up well, because after you struggle and stretch the holes to get it into a binder, turning the pages is very difficult and causes more tearing at the holes. I would give this a zero-star rating if that were possible because I don't think there is any excuse for this. Has the publisher ever heard of quality control? I would warn the buyer not to buy this title as a looseleaf unless the publisher can verify that the hole drilling process has been corrected. You don't find out the problem until after you have broken open the cellophane wrapping and the book is no longer returnable after the package is opened.
